>>>Prank<<<
Jisu swayed her hips slightly hearing the charismatic song playing through her AirPods while cleaning up the cafe before closing it. The sound of a car outside caught her attention as she gawked at the red car parked right outside.
Jisu's eyes widened slightly as a blush crept up on her cheeks seeing Soobin step out of the car, sweeping his bangs away as he looked around. She shook her head lightly before mentally reprimanding herself.
She bit back a grin as she regained her composure, ready to commence the prank she's thought of for days. She pretended not to notice Soobin entering the cafe as she busied herself cleaning the counter.
It was time to put her acting skills to the test.
Soobin smiled slightly seeing Jisu flinch when he suddenly knocked on the counter, asking for her attention. She looked at Soobin in confusion before slowly taking out her AirPods without a word.
"Jisu, I know you're really mad at me and I totally deserve it-" Soobin trailed off seeing Jisu look at him fearfully before slowly moving away, avoiding eye contact.
"I'm sorry, I don't think I know you," Jisu mumbled as she glanced at Soobin again before quickly flinching away. Soobin furrowed his eyebrows as he tilted his head in confusion.
He felt his heart slowly cracking as he watched Jisu look at him with so much anxiety filled in her eyes. He forced a weak smile, trying to come up with an excuse seeing Jisu so desperate to avoid him.
"Oh, I guess I have the wrong person." Soobin's voice got progressively softer as he averted his eyes, clearing his throat before pulling on his collar. Jisu bit her lip guiltily, but she still had to follow her plan. She'll run after him later.
Jisu hesitated to see Soobin slowly turn away and walk toward the front door. Seeing him stop in his tracks, she quickly turned her heel to walk toward the kitchen in case he took a second glance.
Soobin sighed as he watched Jisu enter the kitchen without even looking back at him. He hit his chest lightly before clearing his head, taking a deep breath before turning to actually leave.
He froze yet again when he heard a bloodcurdling scream come from the kitchen. He turned his head slightly, eyes widening in the realization that Jisu was in the kitchen.
He cursed under his breath before running toward the kitchen, going to make sure Jisu was alright. His heart hammered against his chest as he pushed open the kitchen door, only to get the shock of his life.
He staggered backward as he quickly supported Jisu's back so she wouldn't fall. His cheeks heated up as he felt her legs wrap around his torso as she was still facing the kitchen.
