"Be careful okay, I heard it's going to rain soon," Jisu warned as the duo pulled away from the hug. Yeji waved it off, assuring her she had her umbrella and that she'd inform her once she was home.
Yeji quickened her pace seeing that Jisu's warning was indeed true, as the skies darkened. Yeji sighed thankfully that she had managed to seek shelter at the bus stop before the rain had hit the ground.
She sat down at one of the seats provided, catching her breath as she checked if her bus was coming anytime soon. She whipped out her phone hearing the familiar sound that the device emitted when she received a message.
She smiled slightly seeing Yeonjun's message regarding dinner with his dad. She quickly typed a response before sending it and turning off her phone.
Her mind wandered to the conversation she had with Jisu a while back. She pursed her lips as she racked her brains. Ever since entering her final year of university, her brain had gone mushy for everything other than Korean Literature.
Seeing her bus turn the corner, she quickly snapped out of her thoughts before rising from her seat, putting out her hand to call over the bus. She joined the queue to enter the bus, rummaging her bag for her card as she did so.
Just as she was about to tap her card, a light bulb lit up above her head as an idea popped into her mind. She blinked a few times as her hand hovered, inches away from the machine.
"Miss, please hurry." Yeji flinched slightly as the irritated voice behind her snapped her out of her thoughts. She apologized quickly before tapping her card, hurrying into the bus before occupying the first empty seat she spotted.
She quickly took out her phone again, eyes darting as she quickly dialed the number of the person she wished to speak to. She internally prayed for the person to pick up, knowing full well that the chances of him picking up were slim.
"You better have a good reason, Hwang, the cafe's really packed right now." Yeji let out a breath of relief as she heard Beomgyu's sassy voice over the line.
"I'll make it quick. Soobin likes this girl, Choi Jisu. She works at Ginori Cafe, the one in Itaewon. She works there every day, night shifts till 11 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays."
Yeji took in a deep breath after practically saying all of that in one breath. She meant it when she said she'd make it quick. Beomgyu's side was silent as she hoped she was correct on him not being as dense as he seemed.
"How're her Fridays?" Yeji grinned slightly hearing Beomgyu hum into the line, failing to disappoint her expectations. Yeji tried to recall Jisu's shift hours before informing Beomgyu.
She ended the call after the duo had made an agreement on trying their best to speed up the process of their getting together. He may not know, but Soobin had a lot of people watching his back for him.

"Thank you for coming to Ginori, hope to see you soon~" Jisu offered a polite smile to the couple before passing them the baked goods they had bought. They exchanged pleasantries before Jisu sighed tiredly after making sure they had left.
"I know how it feels, having to smile at people all day even if you're tired." Jisu's head snapped at the sound of the voice, surprised to see an unfamiliar yet handsome figure approaching her.
She hummed in agreement, nodding her head slightly as she kept a smile plastered on her face. It slowly faltered into a confused frown when the boy started to snigger, taking out his hands to cover his mouth.
"That was weird." He excused himself with a wave before lowering his hands, letting the awkwardness sink into the atmosphere. The duo made eye contact before he took his hand out of his pocket, offering it for a handshake.
"I'm Beomgyu, Soobin's younger brother." Beomgyu introduced him cheerfully, grinning as he watched Jisu's expression morph into one of surprise. She quickly took his hand and shook it, introducing herself as well.
"Don't worry, Soobin doesn't know I'm here. Yeji told me." Beomgyu whispered, placing a hand beside his mouth to prevent people to read his words from his lips. Jisu chuckled, a small smile adorning her face.
"I'm not here to drill you on your relationship if you're wondering. Just here to befriend a possible girlfriend of my brother's." Beomgyu excused, smirking slightly seeing Jisu blush slightly.
"I came here knowing your lunch break would be in about 10 minutes, we'll talk then?" Beomgyu asked as she pointed to the empty table at the corner of the table. Jisu's eyes softened observing the younger's cute expression before nodding.
She watched as Beomgyu walked over to the table to stop disturbing Jisu during her job. She turned around, dusting off her apron as she released a long sigh, hoping for the best.

"That's crazy." Jisu gasped as she leaned back, staring at Beomgyu in awe as he nodded in a cool way, shrugging his shoulders. He had just told her the story of how he had unintentionally ruined a forced marriage. Don't ask.
The duo had been talking for a long time, realizing that they clicked well in the first few minutes they had conversed. It didn't take long for them to warm up to each other and soon enough, they were acting as thick as thieves.
"Hey, you're free for dinner right?" Beomgyu hummed as he glanced at his phone, realizing that Jisu's break time was nearly up. She pondered for a while before nodding her head.
"Why don't you come over then? Yun-Jae will love you." Beomgyu gushed as he looked at Jisu eagerly for a reaction. Jisu hesitated before eventually nodding her head, agreeing to his request.
"I'll pick you up at 7 pm, I have to head back to the cafe for a while." Beomgyu clarified as he grabbed his coat, offering a glance at Jisu before frowning.
"...What are you doing?" Beomgyu stifled a laugh seeing Jisu lightly tap her face as she adjusted her hair. She looked over at Beomgyu before offering a sheepish smile, scratching the back of her head.
"Soobin prioritizes personality rather than looks," Beomgyu assured the nervous girl, an encouraging smile playing on his lips. Jisu quietly thanked him as her cheeks flared up in embarrassment.
"And besides," Jisu turned to Beomgyu hearing him speak again. He was holding the door open, waiting for Jisu to face him before he said anything else. He gave a mischievous grin before saying what he had to say and leaving for work.
"You look really pretty."
