"Excuse me?" Soobin scoffed in disbelief at his friend on the phone as he put down the iron having been doing the laundry for the past 30 minutes. He shook his head in disbelief as he went to turn the power off to prevent anyone from getting burned later.
"Soobin, please? I know you have one, just bring the one you brought for prom when you went to prom with Eun Seong." LeeMin pleaded desperately, having already spilled food on his own tux at the party and hadn't brought an extra one.
"People have to stop bringing up my ex-girlfriend," Soobin muttered under his breath before he noisily agreed to LeeMin's request, hastily ending the call to look for the tux.
"Jae-ah! Have you seen my tux?" Soobin shouted from his room as he searched his drawer for the tux. He looked over at Yun-Jae sheepishly seeing her come into the room with a fed-up face.
Soobin watched her, dumbfounded as she took the tux that had been hung neatly in his closet. Yun-Jae shook her head in disappointment before passing him the tux wordlessly.
"Y-yah!" Soobin called out to his sister, slightly flustered at how her resemblance to a mother was uncanny. He looked down at his tux with a soft smile, dusting it off since it had been stuck in his closet for years already.
The pitter-patter against his window caught his attention as he furrowed his eyebrows, cursing under his breath and seeing the drizzle from outside. He grabbed a bag and neatly packed the tux before walking out of his room.
"Remember to study Jae-ah!" Soobin called out to his sister, who grunted in response, meaning she had heard him. Soobin shook his head as a small smile was displayed on his lips, slipping on his coat and taking his umbrella.

"Unbelievable." Soobin scoffed seeing the mansion come into sight. He gripped tighter onto the plastic bag, thanking the heavens for seeing no one guarding the front door or anything.
He was about to approach it when someone burst through the door, which shocked him. He flinched back in surprise at the sudden outburst, complaining under his breath.
He stood there, observing the person. He tilted his head, scrutinizing the person since the figure seemed familiar. Upon realizing that it was Jisu, his eyes widened and he was about to go up to her and greet her but froze in his spot.
He watched silently as she stumbled to her feet, nearly tripping on the steps. She had managed to balance herself but to the expense of starting to get soaked. Even though it was raining hard, Soobin could detect the tears streaming down her face.
He watched for a while more as the girl crouched down and started to sob loudly, the faint noise of her cries standing out in the midst of the rain. Soobin found his feet slowly dragging themselves toward her.
Like a scene from a drama, he lowered his umbrella a bit to shield her from the rain, resulting in his back slowly getting drenched without the protection of the umbrella.
As he locked eyes with Jisu, his heart stopped beating for a while seeing how beautiful she looked despite the mascara running down her cheeks. Sacrificing his favorite coat, he got on his knees and pulled the girl into his embrace.
It's been a long time since he hugged a girl and the oh-so-familiar flutter made his stomach ache. He listened to her cries silently, not even stroking her back. Just letting her rest in his arms.
"Why does the world have to be so cruel?" Soobin chuckled slightly hearing Jisu sniff, complaining. He admired Jisu and how beautiful she still looked despite the mascara running down her cheeks. He tries to hide his blush as he feels Jisu's grip on him tighten.
"S-stop it, or I'll carry you," Soobin warns her nervously as he can feel the heat rise up to his cheeks. Hearing Jisu snort, he became slightly competitive.
A yelp left Jisu's lips as Soobin lifted her legs, carrying her bridal style. Her hands instinctively wrapped around his neck as she locked eyes with his determined ones.
"Put me down," Jisu mumbled softly, averting her eyes as she started to blush. Soobin smirked victoriously before carefully placing her down. He stared at her face before using his thumb to wipe away the mascara that had run down her cheeks.
"What do you think you're doing?" Jisu furrowed her eyebrows, her flustered tone making Soobin scoff. Girl really thought he'd be that bold to flirt with her?
"Helping you." Soobin flashed his thumb, making Jisu gasp. Soobin burst into a fit of giggles as Jisu turned away to wipe her face clean from any makeup stains and tears.
"I didn't need your help." Soobin's smile faltered as he looked at the prideful girl in disbelief. He scoffed before looking away, slightly flustered at the rejection she offered him.
"You- Fine." Soobin scowled before turning around and pushing open the doors to pass the tux to his friend. Jisu watch him go in as a lump formed in her throat.
She turned around to face the road, swallowing the lump in her throat as she forced herself to calm down. She wasn't alone. He didn't leave her, he just went in spite, right? He wouldn't-
"You really think I'm that bad of a man?" Soobin offered a cute smile to the girl as his face popped up in her field of vision. Jisu locked eyes with him, flustered as she let out a scoff in hopes of not blowing her cover.

Jisu stared at the canned drink Soobin had bought for her to calm down. She placed it next to her as she released a sigh, swinging her legs as she stared at the night sky.
Soobin looked over to her, smiling softly seeing as he managed to take her mind off what had been troubling her. Soobin also looked up and began counting stars, sipping on his fizzy drink.
He had counted 17 when Jisu interrupted the silence between them.
"Thank you for comforting me. I think I would've caught a flu by now if you weren't there." Soobin looked over at Jisu who stared at her drink shyly, biting her lip.
Soobin hummed lightly, tearing his eyes away as he took another sip of his drink and looked at the night sky again. Jisu looked over at him, admiring his perfect side visuals.
Soobin caught Jisu scooting closer in the corner of his eye, anxious about her next move. He stiffened up feeling her head rest on her shoulder as she let out a tired yawn.
He couldn't do this. Not yet. But this feeling, he liked it yet hated it. Love...ew.
"My dad's remarried, his new wife's expecting. He drafted another will and now I'm not getting anything, other than 10% of some stupid sharings." Jisu mumbled as she tried to stifle another yawn.
Soobin looked over in shock, seeing how easy it was for her to reveal that piece of information. Soobin turned his head to face in front of him again, impressed.
"That's...really messed up." Soobin listened as Jisu let out a dry chuckle. He offered his hand for support, and his heart fluttered as he glanced at Jisu's fingers slowly lace with his.
"Thanks for letting me open up...pretty different from what you normally see, huh?" Jisu giggled sarcastically as a brief smile played on Soobin's lips. He dragged out a contented sigh before sipping on his drink again.
"I like it, it's raw. Makes you seem more human." Jisu glanced at the male, blushing slightly as she gushed silently, looking away as her heart hammered for her crush.
