"Is this going to be a habit?" Jisu chuckled slightly, turning to face Soobin as he walked her to the bus stop after watching her phone call with Yuna telling her she'll be going home first.
"Why? Is there a problem with it?" Soobin raised an eyebrow, a shy smile playing on his lips as he swayed side to side. Jisu felt her heart hammer against her chest roughly as Soobin let out an embarrassed laugh.
"I don't know, if I'm correct, this is what couples do." Jisu excused, averting her eyes in embarrassment and both parties felt their cheeks flare up. Jisu bit on her nail shyly, an excited grin plastered on her face.
Soobin grunted in surprise as his head spun for a few seconds. Regaining his composure, his eyes widened in surprise seeing Yeji in front of him, staring at him with worried eyes.
"Are you okay?" Yeji's voice sent shivers down Soobin's spine as he stared at her in wonder. Like a psycho, he starts to laugh in disbelief, as he covered his mouth in shock.
"Never been better!" Soobin giggled giddily before skipping off.
Jisu stared after him, weirded out as he watched his figure get smaller as he skipped away. Nonetheless, it was cute. Jisu giggled slightly before taking a seat at the bus stop to wait for her bus.

"The fuck?" Yun-jae stared at her brother, weirded out seeing him walk with the support of the walls, laughing his ass off. Yun-jae observed him in amusement as he walked into the room and shut the door after him.
Yun-jae furrowed her eyebrows slightly, still able to hear Soobin's maniacal giggles. She sighed slightly as she muttered something about boys under her breath before walking into her own room.
Soobin plopped down onto his bed happily, staring at the ceiling as he let himself drift away from his thoughts. It was safe to say he was high on cheerfulness, which was eerie seeing as he's been moping around for a few weeks.
He got up abruptly and his smile immediately faltered, being pulled back to reality. Jisu wasn't Yeji, and he shouldn't treat her differently just because he wanted to believe it was Yeji.
Soobin glanced at the charm bracelet that he let rest on the windowsill. He brought his knees to his chest, resting his chin on his knees as he stared at it quietly. He bit his lip before turning away.
It won't hurt to pretend for a while, would it?

"Soobin?"Jisu raised an eyebrow seeing the familiar male walk through the cafe doors. A cute smile adorned his face as he approached her excitedly, scurrying toward her excitedly.
Jisu furrowed her eyebrows, lowkey scared at the sudden change in atmosphere between them since last night but still managed to offer a smile back.
"What brings you here?" Jisu hummed as she closed her textbook, tightening her ponytail afterward before letting her elbows rest on the counter as she watched Soobin in confusion.
"Nothing just missed you." Jisu's eyes widened in surprise as her cheeks tinted a deep red. She stumbled over her words, flustered as she felt herself burning up at the sudden confession.
Jisu's eyes were as wide as saucers seeing Soobin rest his chin in his hands, creating a flower pose as he leaned in and scanned Jisu's face with the cute smile still on his face.
"What the hell are you doing?" Jisu mumbled as she locked eyes with Soobin, hoping the floor would open and swallow her up feeling how flustered she felt at that moment. Thank god Min Jeong's shift wasn't today.
"You're pretty." Soobin pouted as he tilted his head, laughing shyly at himself seeing Jisu also scrunch her nose as she scratched her head, having reached the deepest shade of red.
"Realised that only now?" Jisu joked as she rubbed her arm shyly, turning away to save herself from cringing in front of Soobin. It was embarrassing enough to look as red as a tomato in front of him.
"Anyway, I came here to give you this!" Soobin beamed as he presented a small box with a neat black bow to give it a dramatic flavor. Jisu accepted the present happily despite getting slightly thrown off by the black.
"Thanks-" Jisu looked up and locked eyes with Soobin before he dashed off, giggling his ass off. Jisu looked at him, a look of concern etched on her face as she watched him exit.
She tilted her head slightly as a small sigh left her lips, seeing Soobin nearly trip and fall onto his face trying to run away. Spotting Jisu looking at him through the glass, he flashed a thumbs up before continuing to run away.
Jisu glanced at her present again before putting it next to her textbook, deciding to open it later. Jisu flinched hearing the kitchen door open with a loud bang, making everyone in the cafe look over to where the noise came from.
"Min Jeong," Jisu whispered through her teeth as she nudged her friend, gesturing to the customers in the cafe with her head. Min Jeong looked over at Jisu cluelessly, making her sigh before she helped Min Jeong apologize to those who were still watching them keenly.
"What was so important you had to barge through the door like that?" Jisu sighed as she looked over at Min Jeong who played with her fingers. Jisu pursed her lips seeing Min Jeong still playing with her fingers.
"It's rude to be distracted when talking to someone." Jisu reminded gently, to which the younger nodded as she mentally implanted the manner into her head.
"I forgot," Jisu mentally face palmed herself at the forgetfulness of the younger. Min Jeong contained her laugh as she looked at Jisu guiltily with a hint of mischief in her eyes. Jisu ruffled the younger's hair before turning away to take her textbook.
"Wait, what's that?" Min Jeong asked curiously as her eyes caught the box that was hidden between the corners of the cashier and the display of food. Before Jisu could protest, Min Jeong had snatched it away and eyed it curiously.
"Can I open it?" Min Jeong asked cutely, keeping the present close to her heart as she looked at Jisu eagerly. Jisu shook her head firmly, presenting her palm for Min Jeong to put the present back onto her hand.
"Pretty please?" Min Jeong pouted before sweeping her bangs, a signature habit of hers if she wants someone to obey her. Jisu was a sucker for cute things, so she had to give in seeing the cute expression on her face.
Jisu sighed before waving it off, letting her open it in the end. She scooched closer to Min Jeong to see its contents. The duo stared at the cactus in confusion. Jisu's made it pretty clear that she's a fan of flowers with her accessories.
"Whoever gave you this clearly doesn't know you at all." Min Jeong snorted as Jisu snatched the box away, staring at the cactus uncertainly. It was cute, but she wasn't the type that likes cactuses as cute as they could be.
She thinks they're scary, what with their little pointy thorns that prick your fingers if you aren't careful.
"Doesn't your friend...what was her name? Oh yeah, Yeji. Doesn't she like these kinds of things? I remember her giving me one of these every other year for my birthday."
Jisu tilted her head in contemplation before shrugging, placing the cactus next to the cashier. She stared at it with her lips pursed, deep in thought as to why she suddenly got a cactus from Soobin out of all people.
