>>>Interview<<<

"You actually dressed up for this?" Soobin whispers worriedly as he looks at Jisu who fixed the cuffs of her blouse. She chuckled at her boyfriend who fretted over such a ridiculous thing.

"Chill babe. Even if he disapproves, we already bought the tickets to California." Jisu shakes her head before meeting her eyes with Soobin, giving him an assuring wink. He gulped nervously before turning back to face the cafe again.

Today was the day when the couple would face one of their friends to prove that their relationship would last. LeeMin wasn't one to discriminate, so Jisu wasn't that nervous because there was nothing not to like in Soobin. However, Soobin was nervous because he felt that he wasn't worthy of being Jisu's boyfriend sometimes.

"Should we go in now? It'd be weird if LeeMin sees us outside." Jisu asks kindly, staring at Soobin with big doe eyes as she grinned at him encouragingly. He huffed in determination before cupping Jisu's face, giving her a small peck.

"For luck," Soobin grins at Jisu as he pulls away, their noses still touching. Jisu furrowed her eyebrows as she scoffed in a flustered manner, pushing Soobin away as she fanned herself to get rid of the blush rising in her cheeks.

"I'm going first. You wait here, alright?" Soobin squeezes Jisu's hand lightly before clearing his throat and approaching the front door. Jisu pursed her lips as she watched Soobin's figure disappear behind the front door.

She sighed slightly before lowering her gaze to stare at her sandals. She kicked the rocks as she waited for Soobin's interview to end.

Soobin's eyes wandered around the cafe in a lazy manner to show that he wasn't nervous at all when he was indeed a wreck inside. When he locked eyes with LeeMin, his efforts were gone to waste as he gulped nervously.

"Soobin-ah," LeeMin grinned, gesturing for Soobin to sit. He grinned sheepishly before sitting across LeeMin, keeping his hands on the table as Jisu had instructed. LeeMin gets thrown off when people fidget.

"We'll start right away?" LeeMin looked at Soobin for validation, who nodded silently. It felt like a job interview because Soobin had the suffocating pressure to do well.

"What makes you a good boyfriend to Jisu?" LeeMin watched Soobin keenly as he sucked in a deep breath, knowing that there was no escape from this question. It was bound to be asked and he was bound to answer.

"I'm willing to travel the world for her. If she needs me, I'll be there. Even if she doesn't, I'll be there to accompany her. Even though I might not be able to give her a life of comfort, I'll love her in all ways possible."

When LeeMin snorted slightly, Soobin wasn't fazed. He knew it was cheesy, but it was true. LeeMin didn't know that the couple would be moving to California, so he didn't understand the weight of his words yet.
