Beomgyu admired the girl from afar hesitant to approach her. He turned down her party invite since his mom does have a point. He can't go revel during a time he should be mourning a close relative's death.
He built up the courage to speak up to her even if he's feeling butterflies in his stomach. With a raise of his hand he easily caught her attention. She smiled acknowledging his presence waving back gracefully.
"Hwayoung!"He called as the girl responded by walking up to him.
"Yes?"Her voice continued to make him sick. Sick of the butterflies going wild in his stomach. His words scrambled. He forgot what he was about to tell her.
"I- uh- sorry I couldn't attend your party there was a important family matter"He said avoiding her eyes.
She chuckled and looked at her feet. "It's okay I send my condolences to you and your family"His eyes widens in surprise.
"Your friends told me don't worry I understand"She smiled as she opened her arms and gave him a hug filled with warmth. The tingly feeling rushed into his heart as his body felt like it was possessed. It's like his heart's blood circulation went faster than it was. A summary of what love feels like.
