Two weeks and 6 days later:

Hope's POV:

These last two weeks has flew by. I was not prepared in any way, shape or form. I spent as much time as I could with Lizzie and Josie. I even made sure to work out with Jed, Rafeal and the rest of the pack. The vampires made sure I was invited to every kick back and Dr. S made sure that this was the only way for Malivore to be stopped. I told you he wouldn't give up as long as me becoming the Tribrid was the only option. He was determined to save me from this but I knew there was no more out running it. I'm the one who was created to destroy him and that's what I was going to do.

Josie and Lizzie have been acting very secretive and it has me paranoid. I tried asking Lizzie this morning but she dodged it and so did Josie when I asked her about it in the hallway. School was already out and mostly everyone with families on the outside world left and the rest of us stayed here seeing as it was the only home we have. I was walking around the school, looking around one last time. I don't really have an answer on rather I would come back or not but I know I will miss this place. It's been my home for so long that I forgot what it was like to not have this place to come back to.

I was back to my room now when my phone rang and it was Lizzie. I smiled and answered it, "Hey Love." I said. "Hey babe. Can you meet me in the garden area at the back of the school? I have a surprise for you." She said with this really excited tone. I was confused on what it could be but none the less. "Yeah. I'm on my way now." I said and hung up. I turned around out of my room and headed to the garden. I couldn't figure out what the surprise was but I know she was really excited about it.

I made it into the garden and to my surprise, all of my friends were there. MG, Ethan, Dorian, Dr. S, Lizzie and Josie, Cleo, Landon, Rafeal, Jed, Kaleb and Wade. I smiled as everyone stood up and greeted me. "What's going on and who's birthday is it? Because it's not mine." I said, making everyone laugh. "We told everyone here about what you're doing for us and everyone agreed to get together and show you how much we appreciate you and the sacrifice that you're making to keep all of us here safe. We will never be able to repay you for this or anything that you've done. You are our super hero Hope. Let's celebrate. Thank you Hope." Dr. S said as his eyes brimmed with tears. I knew this hurt him a lot more than anyone else could tell but he also understands now that this is the only way to stop him.

After all the hugs and speeches, we sat down and dug into the food that someone made amazingly. I believe it was Josie and Lizzie who did it but I'll never know because they will never tell me. I tried my best to enjoy the time I'm getting with the people that I have begun to call family when I know in a matter of hours, I will have to leave it all behind for who knows how long. Dinner was flawless. Everyone laughed and talked about all the memories we have together and it was nice to feel at home but the nagging sense of reality was being a bummer on me. Lizzie seemed to noticed and Josie as well.

"Hey everyone. Me and Lizzie are going to steal Hope away for a little while. We'll meet you guys at the party shortly." Josie said before standing up. Lizzie and I followed suit. They lead me to the opening a little ways from where we were eating. Everyone went to get the party started so I know we were all alone with each other. This can go so many ways. "You're probably wondering why we dragged you over here so here it is. We know you're sad and down about what's happening tomorrow and we also know there is a possibility that you could lose your magic so Lizzie and I came up with a way for your powers to still live. We're going to make a magically tree together and it will last lifetimes. It will never die. It will be immortal." Josie explained and I smiled at the thought. They both put a lot of thought into this for me so I went along with it. We did the spell and sure even a tree started to sprout from the soil. It was amazing and the girls seemed amazed by it.
