Chapter Thirty-Four: Unconditionally

Lizzie's POV:

It's been 8 months since me and Hope got married. I was in fact pregnant now and we only had a few more weeks left until the due date. I was so excited for this baby to get out of me. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that I did get pregnant but damn, I feel like I'm carrying twins. My mom says there is a possibility that I am carrying twins since I myself was a twin. Hope was just excited to have a baby on the way. She went through the entire house and baby-proofed everything that could be a risk. I think she may be forgetting that we are not human so we may need more supernatural protection measures. Freya, Piper, Paige, Phoebe and Leo were all here to help. Billie even came by with Piper and Leo's boys who made me so much more excited to be having kids. My mom and Josie come over every day to make sure that everything is still ok and that Hope hasn't gone overboard like she did when she almost wiped the house out of existence. Speaking of Josie, her and Jade just recently got married themselves. It was nice seeing her as happy as I was. 

"Woah who are you and how did you get in my house?" I heard Hope ask before she let out a growl that shook the entire house. I heard what sounded to be fighting and things breaking. I quickly grabbed the charm that would send everyone within the family a signal. It was a gift from the Halliwell's. "Get off of her!" I heard the sisters yell and the house lights flickered. That's how I knew whatever was just here wasn't anymore. "Lizzie!?" I heard Phoebe yell and I came down the stairs. "Why is Hope not waking up?" She asked me and I wanted to scream as I saw the dagger in her heart. "You have to pull that out and hope she doesn't think she's being attacked again." I said and Leo did it. A few minutes passed and there was nothing at first but her eyes shot open and she went to charge him. "You're ok now Hope. You got daggered." I said causing her to stop in her place. "Is the baby ok? Are you ok? They didn't come after you right?" She asked rapidly as she came over and kissed my belly. "Yes we're ok and no they didn't. I did the signal thing like they told us and boom, here we are. What attacked you this time?" I asked, a little annoying that this was the fourth time in two months that Hope has been daggered. "I don't know. I know it was a man but he looked oddly familiar, like I know him... Hold on." She said as she walked over to the school picture on the wall. She stared at it for a minute before she let out a low growl. "Who is it?" I asked, now a little concerned. "Someone I was hoping I'd never have to see again. Goddamn it." She said as she took off. 

"Who is he and what does she mean again?" Paige asked and I gestured for them to sit down. This would take a little while to explain. "The guy she was looking at in the picture is Roman Sienna. He's a vampire who used to go to the school with us until he got expelled. His mom is the reason Hope's mom is dead. Her dad is the reason his family got slaughtered. They swore after the last time they met like this that it would end in bloodshed. He just started a war with her, with us and Hope knows it. This can only end one way. Oh god, I can't be a single parent. I already terrified as it is. I'm going to throw up." I said and started pacing. "Honey. Sit. You're stressing the babies out and me. So please, sit." Piper said and I nodded, doing so. This just went from bad to worse. 

The girls stayed with me as we waited for Hope. She should have been back by now and she wasn't. I was starting to get worried but the front door flew open and there was a bloody Hope. I had never seen Hope that bloody before. "What happened?" I asked her. She turned her head and showed a bite. Someone bit her with vervain. That's why she wasn't healing all the way. Her wolf was fine but her vampire side was not. "Shit. She's been injected with vervain. It's deadly to us. I can't touch her." I said as Hope was losing it. "We have to get her fresh blood and a lot of it. It's the only way to circulate it out of her bloodstream." I said and they nodded. "Feed on me." Phoebe said and Hope denied it. "I could kill you and I'm not going to live with that." Hope said while leaning against the wall. "Leo won't let me. I trust you." Phoebe said as she offered Hope her wrist. You could see the blood lust in her eyes as she slowly bit in. "Slow Hope slow." I said and she slowed down. You could see the vervain getting flushed out and Phoebe was almost drained. I took the chance and pulled Hope off of her. "Heal her now Leo. Hope can still smell her blood and she can't control it right now." I told him and he did what I said. I watched as Hope's eyes went back to normal.
