Monét
I was in bed, I wasn't asleep, insomnia did it's thing , it checked the time it was 3am, maybe I could smoke again, I'm sure you could tell I wasn't an alcoholic, I didn't drink much, just here and there but rarely but I love wine.
I got out of bed, I heard my door opening , could anyone be robbing me, I had a pocket knife, but I did I want to die , well yes but not this way, maybe I should hide, or maybe it's mom or Dom.
Just go down and check stupid.
Oh hell no and die on my way downstairs.
Just go.
I listened to my gut , not forgetting my weapon , slowly getting down the stairs, I mean if these people want money, I could give it to them it wasn't a problem I just want to be left alone.
I bumped into a body, and I almost fell on the ground except I didn't , "Be careful next time"
Wait what, "Tay, you scared me", I told her.
She looked drunk, "Are you drunk?", I asked and she laughed.
I laughed, sometimes she was funny when she was drunk, "Sorry to creep you out, I should have called before entering the house like this, I just couldn't go home like this, you were really going to stab me weren't you?", she said as we headed to the living room.
"Yeah I really was, you are just very lucky dude, what's up?", I asked her.
She sighed laying her head on my lap, oh and also she was a complete crybaby when drunk, "I'm dumb, after leaving you earlier I went to work then came back home and finished an essay I had to submit tomorrow, then later decided to surprise my Alicia when I got there, she was making out with another girl I didn't let her explain, I went to the club and had some shots and decided to come here", she told me.
"I'm sorry that happened I thought she was the realest, maybe you give her another chance to explain herself", I said.
"There's no way I'm doing that , Monét would you ever if it was you?, I know you wouldn't", she told me.
Of course I wouldn't, because I caught you, there was nothing to explain it was clear to me, "You're right I wouldn't, I'm sorry babe, you'll find someone better, I think you should rest we have school in a few hours", I told her , she didn't say anything she lifted her head from my lap and cupped my face.
"Thank you for being here for me", she told me and I smiled, "Of course Tay anytime"
"Let's go to bed", I said and followed behind me.
"Can l sleep here with you?", she asked me , she had the saddest face right now, "Sure", I simply said.
She didn't waste any time and set herself beside me, she had my hoodie on, she held me in her arms, I wrapped my arms around her comforting her, "I thought I was enough", I wanted to cry at that.
"You are enough, she just couldn't see it, I promise you are enough you'll find someone who will see that", I told her.
"Yeah", she simply replied, she was strong on the outside but inside she really wasn't, she is soft very, I could hear by her voice that she was falling asleep and I was too.
I forgot that I needed to smoke, but right now I didn't need that I'm okay, I kissed her forehead, I wish I could stay like this forever despite what happened right now.
She didn't deserve that, she really didn't, she is the sweetest I don't how no one could see it, except I did, I see it, all of it.
But I knew that we were forever in my heart no matter what happens.
"Really wish you could see my heart", I mumbled, she was sleeping, she couldn't hear me.
I was falling asleep, I realized how fast I'd fall asleep when I was with her, she had no idea she was my peace, she made everything seem easy when I could not even see or find a way to anything.
I let sleep take over me.
