7~ Gift ceremony pt 2

CAMILO POV-

As I went behind the flower curtains I found mami Papi and Delores Waiting for me

'Ay...there you are! Have you seen Antonio' mama Said to me in a hushed tone... she seemed more happy than sad or worried... probably just sad that it's already time for Antonio to receive his gift

'No mami...im sure he'll be here soon enough! He's way to excited for this!' I reassured my mother which seemed to calm her down a certain amount

'Y'know don't think that we didn't see you with that girl out there' papa said a clear smirk on his face

'Ay papa please not now' I said covering my face out of embarrassment

'Awww look at this my boys are growing up too fast' mami siad a small Cloud appearing above her head.

'Mami I promise it's all fine I don't Even like her that much' that was a clear lie

I could the disbelief clear on all of their faces accept my sisters which had a smirk.

'Yes he absolutely loves her mhm' she said still smirking at me

'AY My sons first crush' papa said while patting me on the back

'And it could not be with a nicer girl...I'm proud of you Mijo even if you are all....' A rain cloud formed over my mothers head once again

I looked at my mother with a big smile on my face which also helped her calm down

'I'll have to teach you all the tricks now son' my father Said as he nudged me slightly

I shook him off while hopelessly thinking about y/n ...

I wonder if she's okay? Are they being kind too her while we wait...it's okay I'll be out there soon

'Camilo? Are you okay' I came out of my dream-like state and faced my mami

'Oh! Yes mami sorry...'

I looked to Antonio in-front of me and turned into my papa mocking him to help calm Antonio.

And soon enough it was time for us to go and wait...I went to find y/n and found her standing in the same spot I left her.

YOUR POV-

I smiled as Camilo approached me, he reached for my hand and once again gave it a small and tender kiss

After he did so the slow percussion began to play and Alma gave her speech

But I just couldn't pay attention as my eyes were drawn to the boy standing next to me...his sweet smile and his subtle freckles..

'You Nervous?' I whispered to Camilo

'Sort of but...I know he's going to be absolutely fine'
He said softly back to me.

As Antonio was revealed he just wouldn't move...he was frozen until he reached out his hand for someone.

I couldn't make out what he had said but soon Mirabel had appeared by his side.

When Antonio had reached the top of the stairs he placed his hands on the candle...then on the doorknob.

A bright light filled the room and spread across the door then a toucan perched on Antonio's arm.

Then a whole load of animals were scattered around his feet.

'We have a new gift!' Alma announced before fireworks and loud cheers were heard around the room

As we all entered Antonio's room I saw a jungle like room with a tree in the room! It was magical!

We all watched as Antonio ran around his room excitedly

'GO ANTONIO'  I heard Fèlix exclaim as he watched his son.

Soon the party truly began and after a couple of minutes of talking to others I felt a light tap on my shoulder

'Time for my Dance hermosa'
