37 ~ Not a house?!

YOUR POV ~

I looked behind me with a slightly saddened expression, as I heard what Mirabel and Camilo had said

'What...' Alma spoke breathlessly

'We said no.' Camilo spoke harshly as he came closer to me, taking me from Alma's grasp and placing an arm around my waist.

gently tracing careless shapes on my hip to sooth me, maybe even to calm himself down

'Y/n has been through so so much. Even before coming here' Camilo started, as his voice gradually became louder.

'And you had the audacity to make it worse for her over and over, and I'm so sick of it, making her feel guilty for you just so you would be forgiven, well forget it!' He started to yell at his Abuela, and I didn't stop him.

He brought his hand into mine, interlocking them gently guiding his thumb over my Knuckles.

He took me to the side, picking me up and placing me on a rock as he checked me for any casualties, as Mirabel began to speak to Abuela

'Camilo...' I whispered to him, and his head shot up immediately

'What's wrong amor?! Are you hungry, tiered, cold?! Here it's okay put this on' he rambled as he took his runa of off his shoulders and onto me

I snuggled into the runa as I began to blush, I looked back to Camilo and wrapped my arms around his shoulders Connecting them behind his neck kissing his nose as he began to blush

MIRABEL'S POV ~

I took my Abuela's hands as I began to speak softly to her

'Abuela...I can finally see, how hard your past has truly been to you' I could see her begin to smile again

'But I don't think any of us are ready to forgive or forget yet...it's going to take some time'

She smiled to me gratefully as tears came to her eyes

'I asked my Pedro for help... Mirabel...he sent me you' she hugged me as we both cried and smiled

As we pulled away a sea of yellow butterflies filled the sky.

YOUR POV ~

I watched Mirabel comfort her Abuela, as a swarm of yellow butterflies filled the sky. me and Camilo looked up in awe, until I saw him staring at something else.

As I looked down at the rock beside us, I saw two chameleons, one yellow, one blue, their tails interlinked as they sat peacefully.

I smiled back to Camilo as he tucked a piece if hair
Behind my ear smiling.

'THEY DIDNT DO THIS WOAH-' all of your heads turned to someone coming through the bushes, it was Tio Bruno, riding a horse

'THEY DIDNT DO THIS I GAVE THEM A VISION' we watched as Bruno got off his horse and stood with his hands on his hips, his other leg slowly slipping

'WOAH- it was me! I was like- SAVE HER! And Camilo was like phhffft and Mirabel was like AhhhhahHhh- and Y/n tried to save the house!'

We watched as BRUNO waved a finger towards his mother, trying to inform her that it was not our fault

But failing miserably

' I don't care what you think of me! But if your too pig-headed and stubborn!' Bruno began to speak, as his mother ran up to him, bringing him into a hug

'Brunito....' Alma whispered as she hugged her son

Mirabel nugged me as she made her way to the horse, bringing me and Camilo along with her

'Cmon' mirabel spoke as she passed Abuela and Bruno

Camilo got onto the horse first, bringing me up so I was facing him, as he held onto me nervously

Mirabel got on next, infront of me, she lent back slightly whispering

'You really are clingy Camilo' she smirked as she faced forward

'Hey!' He started to protest as I kissed his nose, causing him to blush

'W-where are we going?!' I heard Bruno speak as Mirabel took a deep inhale

'Home...' she spoke as she tugged in the reins, causing the horse to run

As we passed though the village, we saw three of the children that me and Camilo often take care of

'I FOUND HER!'

'NO I FOUND THEM!'

'MIRABEL IS BACK! Y/N BACK THERE ALL ALIVE!' One of them yelled, clinking a fork in a mug as the church bells rang

When we arrived back at the house, chunks of ice and rubble were everywhere, as we got of the horse one by one we were met with vices calling for us three

'Mirabel!...' first was Tia Julieta she came to us and ran to Mirabel, hugging her daughter close

Then Tia Pepa came from a corner, looking at the state I was in, slightly bloody with some cuts and dust over my hair, she came running towards me and scooped me into her arms

I hugged her back gratefully as she gently rocked me back and forth, as Isabella came over to us as well

'We thought we'd lost you' she whispered as she placed her hand on my cheek

'Well I'm here now..' I whispered back as I hugged them both back

'I'm still here you know' Camilo spoke from outside our hug as Tia Pepa and Isabella lord towards him

'Not important' They both said causing me to laugh, as I went over to him, hugging him and swaying side to side slightly

He looked back yo me with a smile, quickly placing a kiss on my lips, causing me to go red again.

I heard a chorus of 'awww's' from Pepa and Felix as we pulled apart

We heard Mirabel's father confort her, even though he looked like a balloon with how swollen he was, from all the bee stings

'I'll be okay'

'Umm...not if we don't have a house' Camilo spoke with one hand on his hip as I gently nudged him

'What I can't say we don't have a house?! What is that not a house mi amor' he said as he pointed to the house

Mirabel looked over to me as she smirked, then going over to the entrance of the house

'We're gonna build it back...' I heard her faintly whisper

Little did the teens know, that building that house back

Would be the worst decision of there entire lives

For they had no idea

Of the demon within
