It's been 7 months since the rape. Bree's been going to group couseling and two weeks after it happened Bree got her kit results back and after taking one of the tests it was confirmed she was pregnant. Whether I'm the father or Chris is is still unknown, but Bree's decided to keep it. Although I'm still shaky on the idea, i'll support her no matter what she does. The police still haven't found Chris and him arrested for what he did. For all we know he could be across the border to Mexico.

Since the fire at the auto body shop I've got a job as a security guard for a car dealership. Instead of fixing cars I'm watching them now. The pay's better, but I'd rather be doing something more productive instead of standing around.

Bree: Carnell are you ready?

Carnell: For?

Bree: To find out if it's a boy or girl. My doctor mailed me pictures from the last ultrasound.

Carnell: Well open it.

She opened the mail revealing a picture and a note. She read it and the biggest smile appeared on her face.

Bree: smiling It's a girl!

Carnell: That's great.

I grabbed my bag and finished getting ready for work.

Bree: You don't seem so thrilled.

Carnell: I am. I'm happy for you.

Bree: So why aren't you happy for yourself?

Carnell: It's just, I don't wanna get my hopes up if it turns out she's not mine.

Bree: Why does that matter, I'm not gonna let Chris be a part of her life if it even comes to that.

Carnell: That's not the same Bree.

Bree: How is it not the same, you could adopt her and raise her as your own. Is her DNA really gonna affect the way you care about her?

Carnell: You know what, I have to go to work so I'll see you later.

She rolled her eyes at me as I gave her a kiss and headed out the door. I got in my car and right as I was about to start it my phone rang. It was an unknown number, but I answered it anyway.

Carnell: Hello?

???: Hi this is Judy from Atlanta County hospital, are you Carnell Breeding?

I was wondering if I should say yes or no to this question?

Carnell: Yes..

Judy: Sir I'm going to need you to get to the hospital regarding Autumn Ramirez.

Carnell: Okay.

I hang up and I sit in my car for a few minutes and I go and grab Bree from inside.

Bree: Carnell what's wrong?

Carnell: The hospital called, Autumn's in trouble.

We get to the hospital and we park in the emergency room lot. We go inside and ask the nurse about Autumn and she gets a doctor.

Carnell: What's going on?

Doctor: Well Autumn came into the emergency room with a knife wound on her right side. How it got there we haven't determined yet. We've tried to stop the bleeding, but because of the depth and length of the cut, and the amount of blood she's lost. Her chance of survival are very slim.

Carnell: What about her child?

Doctor: That's another issue. From the amount of pain she was in and her likely hood of recovering from this, she had a C-section and her baby's about 8 weeks early. Sadly for Autumn, we fear she may hemmorage to death if she doesn't recover soon.
