Ollie lay in her hammock, shaking.
They were finally back.
Months, the FBI had kept them there. Months. They had drawn blood, ran tests, injected chemicals, they had done it all, mercilessly. Then, one day, they dumped them back to our new home that they never got to spend much time in.
It was all so sudden and Ollie could only thank the universe they had made it out alive.
But it bothered her that she couldn't figure out why they gave them back.
It didn't seem to make sense to her, why kidnap the four of them just to give them back? Was the info they gathered satisfactory? Were they unneeded?
Ollie hated not knowing, but was determined to figure it out.
