Diana Hargrove has gone through enough tragedy for three lifetimes, yet she still has an affirming smile on her face. She's lived and travelled all over the world, but the last straw that broke the camel's back, brought her back to her hometown, Cre...

Early the next morning, I was awake sitting on the flat roof outside of my bedroom window watching the beautiful sunrise.
The waning weeks of October are the second most beautiful sight in Crescent Heights. The first ... the middle of winter.
Nonna would ring my neck if she found out that I was sitting on the roof. She used to tell me that I would fall off the roof, because my head is almost always somewhere in the clouds. Nonna is overprotective.
I don't see anything wrong with having my head in the clouds.
The clouds seem to be better than the real world.
The letter I read last night was about the sky. The lyric from The Beatles song Dear Prudence is about comparing the sky to a beautiful girl. Bright foliage on the trees glisten from the rising sun. Waiting for the day to arrive, because the sun needs to get high enough above the trees and the mountains, it's peaceful waiting on the roof.
"The wind is low, the birds will sing, that you are part of everything. Dear Prudence won't you open up your eyes," I sang to myself.
My latest art inspiration has the same theme. Many works that lead to the same result. Singing to myself helps me focus.
This latest artwork is my most secretive one to date. I don't walk around showing people my artwork, but I don't keep my work hidden from people. This project will be the first one that remains hidden. I don't want anyone to see this yet. Or ever.
I might even take this project to my grave. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet.
"Diana! Get ready, I'll drive you to school!" mom shouted.
No one should ever complain about a sweater and leggings. I know I never would.
It's heaven.
After a quick shower my final outfit turned out to be a dark red knit sweater with black leggings. My signature pair of black and white converse sneakers.
I live by wearing comfortable clothes.
If I'm not comfortable, how am I supposed to be relaxed and focused?
"Are you going to meet clients today?" I asked, looking at my mom's outfit.
"The military has offered me the opportunity to design for the upcoming USO tour. Some fresh out of college twig bitch wants to meet in person and discuss this year's theme," mom explained.
Mom looked stunning today.
She looks beautiful every day, but this is next level beautiful.
She had on a baby blue fitted pencil dress. Her beige stockings blended with her skin tone, and her black stiletto heels were on the floor of the passenger's seat.
