Pagkagising ko, I was surprised that it's only 5 AM. I just looked at Luci's bedside clock. 

Pero mas nagulat ako dahil may katabi na ako sa kama ni Luci. What the hell?

I glanced down and my heart immediately calmed down when I saw it was my Xeah. Sobrang himbing ng tulog niya habang nakapulupot sa'king braso.

Napangiti ako habang tinititigan siya habang natutulog. She looks calm and serene. I wanna keep her this way.

Free from worries. Sa magulong mundo. If only I could protect her from that. But I'll do my best to make her happy.

Kung makapagsalita naman ako parang girlfriend ko na siya. But we're going there, right?

'Di mo sure.

Sometimes I hate my mind.

Now how did she came here?

She stirred a little bit at nagising. I immediately rubbed her gently.

"Sleep more." She groaned at mas lalong sumiksik sa'kin, making me smile wider. Ang cute.

"I'm hungry."

Oh that damn bedroom voice.

"Kaya ka ba nagpunta dito para gisingin si Luci?" She nodded sloppily.

"Only to find out you're sleeping here. So I just lie down beside you. It's better than eating." Natawa ako ng marahan.

"Stay here. I'll cook some food for you."

She groaned at umiling.

"Baka matagalan ka naman sa pagbalik sa'kin."

Alam kong may kahulugan ang mga binitawan niyang mga salita. And it's heavy.

"Babalik ako."

"Sama nalang ako." I chuckled because of her cuteness.

"Okay." Tumayo na ako pero mas nagulat ako nang sumenyas si Xeah na magpapakarga siya.

"What a big baby." Sabi ko.

I turned my back on her, tsaka inakay siya para mag piggy back ride. Kahit masakit pa ang katawan ko dahil sa mga pasa na natamo ko kagabi. I won't tell her that.
Once she's settled on my back, and I supported her bottom, she pats my head like I was a good kid.

"I'm your baby." She huskily said. Damn that bedroom voice. Parang natuod ako sa kadahilanang sobrang lapit ng labi niya sa tenga ko. It's ticklish.

Lumabas na kami sa kwarto ni Luci at dumiretso sa kusina. I put Xeah down on the island table. The two of us are the only ones awake in the villa, in this early morning.

"Do you mind if I rummage your fridge?"

"Feel at home." Tumango ako.

I grabbed some eggs and the bread. I toast the bread and prepared their peanut butter. I could feel that she's watching my every move. Makes me feel confident actually.

Nagsimula na akong mag luto ng itlog and did my thing in their kitchen. Once the toast was done, I grabbed it and put it down on the plate. Sakto din na natapos na akong mag prito ng itlog.

I even heated up their coffee maker.

Once I was done, I served Xeah her breakfast on the table.

"Here you go." Sabi ko at naglakad papuntang island table to get her. I carried her bridal style and I saw her blush. Hindi ko maiwasang hindi mapangiti dahil dun.
