"What's up Chill Back!" Sabi ko sa mic, earning cheers from customers of the bar.

We're not at the resort tonight. Nandito kami sa Poblacion ng Pakan, specifically sa isang bar.

May gig kami ngayon dito, bagong open kasi ang bar nito. Ang cute nga eh, sobrang chill lang. From the name itself.

Kita ko din si Leah from the crowd, sitting nearby the stage, kasama sila Yoj.

Last song na for the our set.

"Because tonight is a special occasion kasi opening ng bar na 'to. Gusto lang namin mag pasalamat kay boss Arkin. Thanks for inviting us Sir." Sabi ko at tinuro ang may-ari ng bar. He just smiled and give us a thumbs up.

"Wanna thank you too, for coming over tonight and watched us perform." Nagpalakpakan naman ang customers.

"So, for our last song. You're in luck because we're going to play one of our originals." Nag cheer naman ang crowd. Pinakamalakas talaga si Leah eh kaya natawa kami ng banda.

"This song is called Chasing Cars, hope you enjoy it."

Nagsimula kaming tumugtog. Napangiti ako dahil masaya ako na merong makikinig nito. The crowd clapped for us. When in fact, the band and I made the song when we just got sober after a long night of drinking. Well, sobrang chill lang naman ng inuman na 'yun. We woke up at dawn, kaya nagawa namin 'yung kanta.

I found myself staring at Leah as I sing. Nakangiti siyang nanood sa akin. I saw there are few people who smiled at the song.

I like how this song portrays, nothing else matters to you if you already found someone doing nothing with you, as you lay back and watch the world spins. I wanted to find that type of love. It's exquisite, rare, and genuine.

Are said too much
They're not enough

'Yung tatlong salita. Hindi lang siya bastang tatlong salita. I love you requires a lot of courage before you say it. Overrated man, but I think saying these words to someone you love is giving them assurance. But people nowadays, they just take it for granted. Bihira lang mahanap ang tunay na pagmamahal. Napatingin ako kina Marceline at Rahi. They're lucky, they kind of found each other while they're young. Isang beses lang sumubok sa pakikipag relasyon, at napatunayan nila na they're made for each other. Hindi ko alam kung gaano na sila katagal, pero sa tinginan at kilos nila, gusto na nilang makasama ang isa't isa habang buhay.

If I'm lucky enough, I'd like to find that in Leah. A friendship, turned into love while we're spending time together. That would be wonderful. 

After we sang, we earned claps and cheers from the crowd.

"Thank you at magandang gabi!" Nag wave kami sa kanila at niligpit na din namin ang instruments namin. I put my guitar back in my guitar case.

"You done?" Tanong ni Alexa.

"That was emotional, Taegan." Komento ni Devon sa pagkanta ko.

"Nakakatulong siguro ang alak." Natawa kami.
