Taegan

If I'd compare how happy I am right now, and when I got to know how to drive Papa's Jeep, well I'm more happy today.

Xeah's my girlfriend! The person I love is finally with me! Soft hour men!

Napapangiti akong mag-isa sa kakaisip ng fact na 'to. Girlfriend ko na ang taong mahal ko. Sorry kung paulit ulit, it's just that it's quite unbelievable.

Pa, may girlfriend na dalaga mo.

"Taegan, alam kong maganda anak ko. But you don't have to stare at her that way."

Napukaw ako sa iniisip ko nang marinig kong nagsalita ang Mama ni Xeah, si Ma'am Reese.

I looked at her and she just smirked at me. We're both sitting down on the beach. Hinahampas ng alon ang mga paa namin. Xeah and her Mommy Roselei are walking nearby. Kinausap na din ako ng Mama Reese niya kanina lang.

"Sorry po, Ma'am."

"Tawagin mo na akong Tita, girlfriend ka na ng anak namin." She pats my back. Napangiti naman ako dahil sa gesture na 'yun.

Pareho kaming nakatingin sa mag-ina niya habang naglalakad sila sa dalampasigan.

"Alam mo, gusto kita para sa anak ko." Napalingon ako sa kanya, she's just looking at her family then took a glance at me.

"Alam mo naman kung gaano ka strict at overprotective ang mga magulang diba? Lalo na at nag-iisang anak." Tumango ako. I get her point though. Every parents wanted the best for their children.

"Xeah never talked about anyone like that, like how she talks about you. She looks happy in the photos she uploads and even the photos she sent to us na kasama ka. She looks so happy with you."

I'm glad Xeah feels happy. She deserves everything. And I'd do anything to keep her happy.

"And I'm glad Xeah found it in you. Knowing her best friends are so overprotective of her. You seemed to earn their trust, Taegan."

"Salamat po, Tita Reese. Hindi po mahirap mahalin ang anak ninyo. She grew up really well, thanks to you. I'm thankful because you bore a daughter like her."

Tita Reese seems to like what I said.

"Pero kakayanin niyo ba? Taegan you're a rising star, schedules niyo after this week will be packed."

"Kakayanin po Tita. Wala namang kasiguraduhan ang lahat. Pero hanggang mahal ko po anak niyo, hindi ako titigil na iparamdam 'yun sakanya. Tsaka kilala ko po si Xeah, masyado siyang thoughtful. We will be both growing mature as days go by. I'd fight for our relationship to last."

Napangiti naman si Tita Reese sa sinabi ko.

"If I make her cry one day, sisiguraduhin kong tears of joy 'yun, at kung masaktan ko man po siya, I'll never do it intentionally. I'd just jump off a cliff kapag nangyari 'yun."

"Edi lalong nasaktan anak ko." Biro pa ni Tita. Natawa ako ng bahagya.

"Halika na, mukhang hinahanap ka na ng girlfriend mo."

Tumayo kami pareho at sinalubong ang mag-ina niya. Tita Reese immediately went to her wife and wrapped her arm around Ma'am Roselei's waist.

"Hindi ka ginisa ni Mama?" Tanong ni Xeah dahilan para matawa ako ng bahagya, tsaka umiling.

"She's just reminding me how to take care of their Princess. I may not look like it, but I'll do my best to treat you like a Queen."

"Ayan! Kaya botong boto ako sa'yo Taegan eh."
