Once the sun started to set, Dream passed out the warm clothing as the air started to turn cold. They all had had a silent journey ever since Tip had tried to talk to Dream. He regretted snapping at her but he really just wanted to be left alone, at least that is what he kept telling himself. She had her face all bundled up from the coats and scarves so it was hard to read her expressions.

After a few days from the village attack, Dream had gone back to teaching Tip how to use a weapon. He was different though. More stern and had a shorter fuse. He was hard to train with so Tip just compiled to whatever he said. She missed how he would play everything as a joke or insult her in a joking matter. She had to keep reminding herself that he was working through more stuff then she could ever imagine.

She barely ever saw his face anymore, it was always hidden by his mask. She missed seeing pridful grin and his challening eyes that were always looking for any sign of weakness whether it was to his advantage or not.

Tip could feel herself starting to change to use a sword. Her arms were becoming more toned from swinging Fiolett and she had more energy. Snow started to cover the ground. She had only seen snow a couple of times but it was on royal trips so she never got to play in it much like the kids she would watch play in it. Throwing snowballs at each other, building snow people, and snow forts. There definitely wasn't enough snow on the ground to build a snow fort or snow people but there was enough to make a snowball.

Tip got an idea to have a little fun. She scooped up a handful of snow while Ranboo watched her. She held a finger up to her lips in a shushing motion as she turned the snow into a ball shape. She then chucked it at Dream, hitting him in the back and bursting into smaller pieces of snow. Tip broke out into giggles as Dream slowly turned to her. It was impossible to tell what he was thinking because of the mask but Tip scooped up another and made it into a ball shape, throwing it at Ranboo. It hit his arm also falling to pieces.

"You must have a death wish Tip." Dream said in a playful tone, one she deeply missed. He scooped up his own snow and threw it at her. It hit her in the face earning a wheezing laugh from Dream. "Bullseye." He laughed.

"Oh you're on Dreamie." She taunted, shaking off the snow on her face and grabbing more snow. Even Ranboo scooped up some snow and then threw it at Tip. She yelped as it hit her in the chest. She threw her next snowball at him and then dashed to her left to try to avoid one that Dream had prepared. He then threw it at Ranboo also hitting him in the face.

They ran around, laughing and throwing snowballs at each other for a while. Tip tried to dodge a snowball that Dream threw but her foot slipped on the snow and fell backward allowing the snowball to hit her on top of her head. Dream laughed, "Are you okay?" He lowered a hand down to her.

She giggled, "Yeah I'm okay." She took his hand and he easily lifted her up. She brushed the snow off of her coat, "I hoped I lightened the mood." She smiled. Dream shrugged but under the mask he was beaming. He had missed her laugh.

He chuckled, "Let's keep moving."

"Do you think we will get to see it snow? I've never seen snowfall before." Tip asked excitedly, looking around at all of the snow.

"Probably. It snows all the time this far North." Dream answered. She looked around the sky with a bright smile and wonder in her eyes.

Once they got to practice, Dream was in a much better mood and ended up laughing every time Tip slipped on the snow. His mask was still on his face. They fought in a wide clearing while packing down the snow under their boots.

"Keep your stance wide. It will help you stay on your feet in slippery conditions." He tried to explain through his laughter.

"Is that how you stay on your feet and don't slip at all?" She asked.
