"We can split up to stop the Sorcerer Succession." Drista said, "Ranboo? Will you go with me? We can take the Northside and clear out all the sorcerers who are causing problems."

Ranboo nodded. "Good idea, Drista. Techno and I will go to the cities. That is where they will do the most damage." Philza added.

"And the princess- I mean queen?" Technoblade asked.

"I got her." Dream said softly. Tip had fallen asleep in his arms from not having slept properly in months. She finally felt safe.

Technoblade nodded, "The hunters stay here for protection in case Wilbur comes back." Dream didn't like the fact that he couldn't help but he was too exhausted to complain. Dream and Tip were still slumped on the floor and his body ached with every breath. He looked at the golden crown that glittered on the floor a few feet away. It was completely forgotten while the kingdom had fallen apart.

Servants and medics came into the throne room. Dream had woken up Tip so that she could have the cut on her arm patched up. The burns on his skin were tended to while Drista and Ranboo had flown North to protect the outer villages while Technoblade, Philza, and a few troops protected the larger cities.

Tip picked up the Golden crown after the medics were done with her wounds. She brushed off the dust on the blue sapphires. "We didn't even get my mother's crown back." She said softly. Her eyes became blurry with saltwater. Dream came up behind her and hugged her from behind. She turned around and cried into his chest.

"Tip." He said gently. She looked up at him as something materialized in his hand. A silver and sapphire crown.

"H-how?" She asked as she took the crown.

"Wilbur didn't protect it well enough from getting stolen by another sorcerer." Dream explained, "It's now protected and I can protect the other."

Tip looked at the crowns in her hands. Both belonged to her lost parents and now one was hers and the other would be for the king, whomever she marries. Four older men came into the throne room. Tip remembered them as the royal court. They all wore blue robes with gold lace. Gold jewelry hung off their bodies to show their wealth. They all looked the same with blue hoods over their heads that shaded their eyes.

They helped the king or queen solve problems. From what the country was now, Tip guessed they weren't that great at helping the king or queen rule. "Your highness, you must have a coronation to make you queen." One of the royal attendants said as he saw the crowns in her hand.

"There is no time. My kingdom is in shambles." She said as she put the silver crown on her head, "Find those across the land who are severely injured. We will use the courtyard as a medic area. Find the best medics and set up the best equipment for them. We will pay them decently for their efforts."

"Your highness. A coronation is more important than you may think. Besides, outsiders are not allowed in the castle." The elder on the far right shot a glare at Dream.

Tip took off the crown and thrusted it forward, "Then do you wish to lead the country out of this mess? I'd love for someone to deal with this instead of me." She snapped. They backed away with gasps and shaking their heads. "That's what I thought. Do not defy me." She said sternly. She put the crown back on her head. They bowed and left the destroyed throne room.

Tip glanced at Dream who looked impressed. "You're gonna be a good queen." ge said with a smile.

"I sure hope so." She sighed.

"With how you showed those guys, I'm sure you will do great." He chuckled.

She smiled, "Thanks. I can finally do what I wanted to do for so long.

"I won't argue." Dream agreed.

One of the elders came up to them, "Your Highness, You are needed in the library for a quick meeting."

She nodded. They left the throne room as the sun was going down. Tip yawned and leaned into Dream's side as they walked down one of the corridors. He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer. "After this, you should get some sleep. You're exhausted." Dream said.

"I don't think I could sleep even if I tried." She said.

Dream chuckled, "I bet the moment you sit down, you'll fall asleep."

She smiled, "Challenge accepted." They made it to the library where the four elders were standing around a circular table.

"This meeting is for the royal council only." One of the elders snapped at Dream.

"He is staying." Tip said sternly. The elders didn't argue but he still shot a nasty glare at Dream.

"Your Highness. You speak of allowing the injured into the castle for healing and medical treatment." One of the taller elders said.

"I did." She agreed.

"I hope you know that that will take a lot of resources. Maybe ones we don't have. We ask that you forget this idea. It is foolish and dangerous to allow so many strangers into the castle." A shorter elder said.

Dream raised an eyebrow, "Really? You're that selfish? I'm starting to see a pattern."

"I still hold my word. It is our fault this mess even happened in the first place. I want to make it up to the people." She said, "Also, I forbid any sorcerer to be killed on sight. If they break the law, they must be held to trial just like everyone else." Dream caught her eye and gave her a smile. She returned it and slipped her hand into his.

The elders gasped like she had just said something inappropriate. "But your highness! Sorcerers are dangerous! None of them can be trusted! We cannot control their power!" One elder spoke as he glared at Dream.

"Not all are bad. We can hire paid sorcerers to help catch sorcerers who cause problems. That's what is happening right now as we speak. We as mortals cannot stop sorcerers by ourselves so we require help from the power itself. Hunting down people with power is unjust and wrong. I will not allow it anymore." She said. She felt Dream's hand lightly squeeze hers.

"Y-yes your highness. Is that all?" One elder said dryly. Dream wanted to punch these four guys for the amount of disrespect they were showing.

"Yes. That is it. Council dismissed." She said. The four elders walked away and she heard the library door shut behind them.

"What a bunch of assholes." Dream said.

Tip giggled, "Dream. You can't say that. They help the king or queen make hard decisions."

"More like they make the hard decisions they want. They had a lot of power when your father was in charge, huh?" He asked.

Tip sighed and sat down on one of the nearby sofas. "Yeah. They did. They were able to convince my father to do horrible things to the SMP so that they would get more power and more wealth. I guess they were expecting to do the same thing to me."

Dream sat down next to her and winced from the pain in his side, "Well you showed them. You are fixing their mess but what if they try to lie and not follow your orders? They looked pretty upset about your new policies."

She rested her head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around her. She was able to lay her head on his chest and listen to his heartbeat. She never had felt so safe in her entire life. "Then I can have them thrown into prison for tyranny. They knew the risk when they joined this job. My father just let it slip by. Now they won't be so powerful and rule the nation for me. My father was just a puppet for them." She explained.

"That is the definition of an asshole." Dream chuckled.

Tip giggled, "I guess so." She had her eyes closed and Dream could tell she was close to falling asleep. She was snoring soundlessly in minutes. Dream kissed her on her head and soon fell asleep from his own exhaustion.
