Sasuke’s POV.

I have seen her smile before but this time I can tell it’s different. She is really happy. I also am happy right now. Forgetting all the memories I had in past and treasuring the present. I saw her get up and she walks toward the hill. Sitting down under the sun and enjoying the moment. I stared at her back. She looks really beautiful with her hair spreading because of the wind. I smiled again. I leaned the tree behind me and I closed my eyes.

The heat from the sun is covered by the tree and the cool air is blowing slowly. I wish this could last forever. I hear a humming song from Hinata. Her voice is soft and low yet it sounds great. Rather than loud Karin. I need to go back to them if I want to kill Itachi. I sighed. Should I take her there or not? Orochimaru will surely have an interest in her. When my mind is arguing to take her or not. I fell asleep. Without even noticing.

General POV.

Hinata: "Sasuke-san. It’s almost noon. So should I go get some f… " She slowly turned in the direction where Sasuke is and she found that he was asleep. She walks near him quietly and gently. She took out the blanket and put it on Sasuke. She smiled at him and she laid down also. Looking at the sky. She never thought that she would be friends or travel partner with an Uchiha. Her clan taught her that they are bad, bloodthirsty, and heartless. She realized that they were wrong when she saw Sasuke.

He was mean yet kind, cold yet soft. She looked beside her. Sasuke is sleeping. She smiles not because he is handsome but because she found a purpose in her life for the first time. Following him was her goal right now. She feels safe and happy around him. She didn’t want to let go of him. She just wants to be by his side. She smiled again at her thoughts. She felt butterflies in her stomach. Is that the feeling when you have someone you cherish? She whispered to herself. When her head touches her arm, she also fell asleep. Again, the world went quiet acknowledging the sleeping of two people.

Sasuke’s POV.

Sasuke: "I fell asleep. It’s rare for me to fall asleep in the afternoon." I looked at the hill and saw the orange, purple and yellow are mixing to form a beautiful sunset.
Sasuke: "Wait. Where is she?" I looked around as I can’t find her on the hill. I heard a groan and looked down beside my knees.

"There she is. Sleeping again." With a leaf in her hair. My hand reached out to pick the leaf on her hair but suddenly. She grabbed my hand and woke up.

Hinata: "Byakugen." She suddenly activated her dojutsu. I laughed at her reaction.
Sasuke: "Sleepyhead, I was just picking the leaf on your head. You don't need to suddenly activate your byakugen. You are not fully awake." I continued to laugh when I saw her turning red like a tomato.
Hinata: "I-it’s just my habit. S-sorry." She still hasn’t let go of my hand. Her hand is small yet warm and soft.
Sasuke: "You didn’t wake up when I carried you last night." Even though she wasn’t fully awake, her other hand was near my neck ready to knock me out. I can tell that she doesn’t let her guard down. I like the fact that she is very careful and aware of the danger.
Hinata: "Maybe because I was too tired. Sometimes, it takes my sister a bucket of water to wake me up." She laughed at her statement.
Sasuke: "Really? Should I carry a water bucket with me?" I teased her.
Hinata: "Then, if I wake up first you will get soaked first Sasuke-san." She giggled.
Sasuke: "Are you challenging me?" I was having fun talking with her even though I hate talking.
Hinata: "Mercy, please. I don’t want to get up too early." She winked her one eye.
Sasuke: "Now I want to see your expression when you get your face poured with cold water." I chuckled.
Hinata: "If I get sick, you will have to take care of me Sasuke-san."
Sasuke: "If I do will you let me do that?" I asked her mockingly.
Hinata: "Well, still no." She looked at the hill and her eyes sparkled.
Hinata: "Sasuke-san. Look. The sun is setting. It’s so beautiful." She grabbed my arm and forced me to walk with her and sit down on the top of the hill.

She looked at the sun setting without even blinking when

"I looked at her all the time. "
