Part 35

      "I love you Hinata Hyuuga. I love you with every breath of mine. I love you more than anything." 
 
“Would you like to be my girlfriend?”
 
      A single tear dropped to the ground from the girl’s eyes. ‘Is she sad or angry at him? No, those are tears of joy when she heard those sweet words from the boy she loved so dearly.’ The boy's eyes were filled with sorrow when the girl didn’t respond. He prepared for the worst. She is too good for him but still, he couldn’t help it.
 
The Heart wants what it wants.
 
[3rd person POV]
 
           The boy felt unbearable pain in his chest. ‘Karma is so real.’ He said to himself. ‘So is that how it feels when the girls got rejected by me?’ His gaze hasn’t left the lovely girl in front of him yet. He couldn’t face her anymore, he decided to walk away and pretend like nothing happened before a lovely giggle escaped. 
 
Hinata: “I didn’t know you would be this romantic Sasuke-kun.”
 
           She said with her angelic voice that soothes Sasuke’s pain away. The raven stared at the girl again waiting for her response. Before a pair of wide beautiful orbs opened, the girl breathed in heavily collecting the courage for her answer.
 
Hinata: “Yes. I agree to be your girlfriend.”
 
            Sasuke thought he was going crazy. The girl he loves accepts him. His eyes were now filled with happiness, excitement, and joy again. He gave his best smile to his new girlfriend who he loves so much. Before he knew it, a pair of soft, pale hands were wiping his tears away. ‘Did he just cry?’ He looked at the girl in front of him who is smiling happily. He thought he died from a heart attack when Hinata said something unbelievable.
 
Hinata: “I love you too Uchiha Sasuke.”
 
“You are the best thing that happened to me. 
  I never thought I would fall for you this much Sasuke-kun. 
 
 The day you saved me, 
 The day you gave me a purpose, 
 The day you showed me your smile, 
 The day you saved me from Naruto, 
 The day you comforted me when I was broken
 The day you said you value me like the rarest diamond, 
 
 All the days you were with me made me feel safe, comfortable, and warm. 
 
 With you I found peace.
 With you, I found my happiness. 
 With you, I feel wanted, safe, and loved.
 With you, you made me forget my past. 
 With you, I am just Hinata, a girl who is kind, selfless, gently, and caring. 
 With you I found love.
 
  I never thought My enemy became my lover. (Story title)
 
 I know you had a dark past and you chose the wrong path but I am willing to be the light of your darkness and lead you to the right path.
 
 I know people think you are ruthless, cold-hearted, blood-thirsty but I saw the beauty inside you. The real Sasuke who is kind, caring, and gentle. 
 
  I know you are not perfect but I am willing to accept your flaws, forgive your mistakes and I will help you to start a new life again.
 
Because I love you Sasuke. Not your face, not your strength, I just love you. 
 
           At the end of her sentence. Sasuke stepped closer and lifted her chin gently. Leaning closer to her, their faces were inches away staring into each other will eyes full of love. Hinata closed her eyes as she felt Sasuke’s lips on her. 
 

          The kiss was not rough, passionate, or aggressive. Sasuke kissed her gently, slowly, and softly like he was telling her how much he loves him. He was surprised when she kissed him back with the same afford he did pouring her love into the kiss telling him she loves him too.
 
      The couple broke their kiss asking for Oxygen. Sasuke pulled her into his chest and hugged her like he is never letting her go. Hinata wrapped her arms around and enjoyed the kiss and the hug. 
 

Hinata: “That was my first kiss.” She said shyly looking at the ground when they broke the hug.
 
Sasuke: “Mine too”. Sasuke chuckled when he saw his girlfriend staring at him with surprised eyes. In his life, Sasuke has never touched any woman except Hinata. 
 
Itachi: “I am so happy for you guys.” A sniff followed after the voice and the couple looked at the man who is crying.
 
Sasuke: “Oii, why are you crying Nii-san?” The younger Uchiha asked confused while holding Hinata’s hand.
 
Suigetsu: “I didn’t know you can say such things Sasuke.” Suigetsu said mockingly while Sasuke tried to hide his blush.
 
Sasuke: “Shut up.” He growled at the man with a faint blush and the others laughed at his cute expression.
 
Karin: “You guys were so romantic you know.” Karin said while hugging Hinata and dragging her away from Sasuke who has a frown on his face because his girl was taken. 
 
Hinata: “I-it’s not l-like that.” The Hyuuga shuttered and blushed at her as she could. Jugo just stood there smiling and Itachi was trying to tease Sasuke.
 
Hinata: “Ohh and I heard you are dating Suigetsu-san?” She said with a playful smirk.
 
Karin: “T-There’s n-no way I-I would d-date a-a pig b-brain.” Hinata giggled at her red pouting face trying to deny the truth.
 
Suigetsu: “Buy you even called me ‘Honey’ a while ago, Babe.” A wide grin was clear on his face. Karin became redder and started to shutter more.
 
           Sasuke was watching those three argue and he looked at the giggling Hinata. His hands cover his mouth and licked his lips as he could still feel her sweet lips and her lavender scent on his clothes. At that thought, Sasuke became slightly red. 
 
Itachi: “Stop doing that Sasuke. You look like a pervert.” Itachi whispered to Sasuke who responded with a glare. 
 
Sasuke: “When did you even get those Dango?” Sasuke picked up a Dango from his brother and started chewing it.
 
Itachi: “While you guys were arguing. Jugo have some.” Itachi handed Jugo the Dango bag and gave a smile. 
 
Hinata: “Sasuke-kun, Itachi-san, Jugo-san fireworks are starting.” She waved to us enthusiastically with a smile on her face. Sasuke gave a nod and smiled back while walking toward her. 
 
          The night sky was lit up by the various colors of fireworks and it was really beautiful. Sasuke was sitting beside Hinata and on his right side, there were Itachi, Jugo, Suigetsu, and Karin. Sasuke glanced at the angel beside him who is watching fireworks.
 
 

“He smiled when he realized that She was finally his.”
