Sasuhina "My enemy became my lover"

Part 25

Sasuke: “Are you ok Hina? You look pale.” ‘Am I even invisible?’ I always ask that question to myself because no one cares for me. Yet, this person in front of me with a pair of onyx eyes noticed me. My brain replayed all the memories we had together, talking together, teasing each other, watching the moon, his kiss on my cheeks, everything we had done together. I could feel my heart beating faster, my face becoming red a bit, feeling flattered and thrilled inside. 
 
“Is this something they call love?”
 
Hinata: “I am ok. I just need some rest.”
 
     I closed my eyes and formed a smile but my head is getting heavy. I wanted to leave as soon as possible and rest. Sasuke raised an eyebrow at me and his onyx eyes stared into mine. I felt like he can see through my soul and knows my secrets. He kept observing me and I felt afraid of him for the ‘first’ time. I don’t want anyone to know my hidden side. I don’t want him to see me in a pathetic state when I got scared by my nightmares. I don’t want anyone to call me weak again. I am pretending to be strong but still, I am weak inside and I don’t like it. His gaze became more intense and something inside me tell me to run away from those eyes. ‘Please, let me go Sasuke-san. Let me just go to my room and let my tears out.’ I said in my mind. 
 
Sasuke: “Okay. Goodnight Hina.” 
 
     I gasped silently at his words. Did he just read through my mind? I felt his hand let go of my slightly shaking body and started to eat his food. I quickly got out of the dining room and I facepalmed myself. ‘Idiot, you should have asked for directions first.’ I didn’t know what to do but stood there until a voice startled me out of blue. I turned to where the sound came. Sasuke is leaning against the wall with his eyes closed and his arms crossed. 
 
Sasuke: “Idiot.” My eyes widened at his words.
 
Hinata: “Uh?”
 
     I know I am an idiot but I was just surprised to hear it from Sasuke. He slowly opened his eyes and looked directly into my eyes again. I felt myself shaking like I am a rabbit running away from a wolf. His eyes are cold and his aura is intimidating. 
 
Sasuke: “Go to the right at the end of the hall and turn left if you see three paths. The last room is mine and the middle one is yours.”
 
      His cold voice echoed through the hall and I couldn’t gather any strength to talk back. Something inside him is scaring me. Probably his eyes, I felt like he explored into my soul endlessly with those eyes as dark as obsidian. 
 
Hinata: “T-thanks.” I mumbled but loud enough for Sasuke to hear. I started walking away from him because I felt uncomfortable around him for the first time.
 
[Time skips] [General POV]
 
     A man with raven hair got up from his bed with his brother beside him to take a walk. In his eyes, he can see a trembling Hyuuga who is scared when he held her hands. He walked toward the kitchen with a sour mood and drank a cup of cold water in the middle of the night. “Tsk.” He hissed. He ruffled his hair roughly and tried to forget the sight he saw. 
 
     A pair of lavender orbs filled with gentleness was looking him terrified and hiding something when he stared into those orbs. He sighed and tried to dismiss his thoughts. Walking back to his bathroom, before grabbing the door handle. A sorb was heard from the room beside his. He stopped moving and tried to listen to the sound again. The groaning and whimpers came out as the seconds passed. Without hesitation, the Uchiha headed to where the sound came and opened the door. 
 
     In the raven eyes, he saw the moonlight peeking through the window panes and reached a girl. The light reflected the girl’s beautiful hair and the dark blue color shined. The man forgot to breathe at such a sight until he heard sniveling from her. The boy made his way toward her to see her shivering and shaking badly. Without a second guess, he placed his palms on her forehead and caress her bangs. The sweat stick to his hands and he realized that she was having nightmares after hearing her terrified voice.
 
Hinata: “M-mother.” (Groan) “N-no. I-I am n-not w-weak.”
     She bit her lips so hard to surpass her fear. “P-please l-let me g-get out o-of here, Father” The girl continued to groan and shake until she felt a pair of hands shake her shoulders roughly.
 
Sasuke: “Hina!! Hina!! Wake up!! It’s just a nightmare!!” 
 
     With that, Hinata opened her eyes wide and coughed as her lungs couldn’t get enough oxygen. 
 
Sasuke: “Breath Slowly Hina. It’s okay. I am here.”
 
     The girl looked up to a figure in front of her sitting on her bedsheet. She grabbed into that person's shirt and held it tightly. She kept quivering until she was pushed into someone's chest. As the tears rolled down her face, she couldn’t help but let the sobs out. Sasuke wrapped one arm around her neck while the other one pulled her closer to him by her waist. A faint sigh was made by the young man who is holding a shivering girl. 
 
Sasuke: “What’s wrong Hina?”
 
     He whispered softly expecting the girl to calm down.
 
Hinata: “I-I a-am not w-weak.” The girl whispered weakly making the boy confused. 
 
[Sasuke’s POV.]
 
     I looked down at the fragile girl inside my arms. Is that the Hinata I knew? The one who always smiles and giggles softly. The one who faced her grandmother fearlessly and defeated her? It’s the opposite. She seems to have nightmares and her situation is serious.
 
Sasuke: “Yes, you are not weak Hina.”

     I continued to pat her back as she continued crying and her tears soaked my shirt. 
Hinata: “I a-am not weak?” She looked up at me with tears in her eyes and said between sobs. My chest hurt to see her like this.
Sasuke: “Yes, you are stronger than anyone I have known.” I said with a serious tone. I placed a kiss on her forehead gently while her bangs brushed through my lips.
 
Sasuke: “You are the strongest.”
