Sasuhina "My enemy became my lover"

Part 37

 

    Hinata rushed to the next room as she heard things breaking and glass shattered. She kicked the door open to see Sasuke with Mangekyo Sharingan gritting his teeth while holding a paper. She glanced around the room and it was a mess. The broken lamp, pieces of wooden tables, the glass pieces. It doesn’t matter right now. She walked toward Sasuke who was angry and furious at the same time. Before she could ask what was wrong, Sasuke spoke slowly with full of hate inside his voice.
 
“Itachi is gone.”
 
           Hinata let out a gasp as tears flowed down to Sasuke’s cheek. Sasuke felt numb and his chest hurt so bad. He fell on his knees trying to surpass the pain and anger that is going to explode. Hinata knew that Itachi was going to fight Madara alone but she didn’t know that he won’t inform us. She slowly made her way to Sasuke and hugged him from behind who looks vulnerable. Sasuke was a mess, he has already lost his clan and family, he can’t lose his brother. Sasuke loved his brother with all his heart even though he didn’t show it. 
 
Hinata: “Calm down Sasuke, it will be okay.” Her sweet voice soothes his pain a little bit and he stopped crying. Hugging Hinata tightly and crying inside her embrace like a child. 
 
Sasuke: “I-I can’t lose him H-Hina. He is the only family I have left.” He said between sobs and even though the tears stopped flowing he is still sobbing quietly. 
 
Hinata: “Look at me Sasuke.” She pulled up Sasuke’s chin and looked into his obsidian eyes. 
 
Hinata: “Itachi's last wish was to protect leaf village. Let’s fulfill it.” Sasuke nodded slowly looking into the girl’s lavender orbs. 
 
Hinata: “Stop acting like a crybaby and get back on your feet Sasuke.” Her demanding voice snapped Sasuke and put some sense into him.
 
Hinata: “Listen, let Jugo, Karin, and Suigetsu go back up the leaf with Orochimaru. I and you will go save Itachi okay?” Sasuke slowly got up and Hinata wiped his tears with her thumb and kissed his forehead. 
 
Sasuke: “Thanks Hina.” He smiled weakly and Hinata hugged him again.
 
Jugo: “I will be leaving with them Sasuke, please take care of him Hinata-san.” Jugo's voice echoed through Sasuke’s messy room and Hinata gave a nod. She hugged till Sasuke has calmed down.
 
Sasuke: “I am okay now, let’s go.”
 
 Her touch, her words, her voice gave Sasuke the courage to stand up again. Hinata quickly ran out of the room and started packing things. Kunai, shuriken, paper bombs, seals, and others ninja tools. Without wasting a second, they left the hideout and headed toward the Uchiha district. 
 
[In the letter]
 
Sasuke when you are reading this, it means I have already gone to fight Madara in the Uchiha district. 
I am sorry for not telling you this brother. I had a disease that cannot be cured. 
I might win against Madara or I might die but it doesn’t matter since I don’t have much time left to live this disease. 
I am proud of you Sasuke. 
You were dark and twisted when you were young but now you found, light and peace with Hinata.
I had fun in these 2 months and I am really happy that you trusted me and accepted me. 
Please take care of yourself and Hinata. Please protect the village Sasuke. That’s my last wish. I love you Sasuke.
 
 
          Sasuke pushed the chakara into his feet and left footprints on tree branches. It’s been an hour since they departed and Sasuke was going too fast with the hope that he can save Itachi. Hinata was beside him, with her Byakugan activated searching for his brother. Sasuke hated his brother but he loved him more than he hated him. Itachi was his hero, his ideal, his brother, his family. He has already seen his father and mother die in front of his eyes. He will go on a rampage if he has lost Itachi also. Tears rolled down again as he thought of the memories that they spent together, his jokes, his forehead pokes, his teasing voice, his combat skills. 
 
Hinata: “Don’t you dare cry Sasuke. Itachi is strong.” Hinata has telling and comforting Sasuke to feel better. Hinata has taken the lead as Sasuke is unstable and surprisingly, she has managed the situation pretty well. Jugo, Suigetsu and Karin have already headed to Konoha. 
 
[To Konoha.]
 
Obito: “For ladies and gentlemen who arrived here today, let me announce something. I Obito Madara hereby announce that the 4th ninja war has started” No one knew that Obito was alive but here he was, standing on the 10 tailed head who is roaring ready for the battle. 
 
Naruto: “Obito, you don’t have to do this, this is wrong.” Naruto shouted while activating his tailed beast cloak. The war has broken out and all the villages are fighting together as one to defeat the enemies. 
 
Obito: “The wrong one is you naruto. Wake up to reality, the longer you live, the more you realize that the only things that truly exist in this reality are merely pain, suffering, and futility. I shall change this world and wipe the failure away to create a world that only peace exists.”
 
Naruto: “Then, I will prove you are wrong that there are also love, peace rather than suffering and pain.” By the end of the sentence, he and his troops have started attacking the 10 tail and Obito.

Naruto: “Wind style: Rasen-shuriken.” Not long after he cast the powerful Jutsu, Naruto fell on his knees because of overusing the Chakara. 
 
Sakura: “Let me heal you first, Naruto.” The pink hair shouted as she rushed toward Naruto to hold him up and heal him.
 
Obito: “It seems like 10 tailed is ready.” A large number of smaller unknown creatures were spread out from the 10 tailed’s flesh and charged toward the Ninjas. 
 
Naruto: “Crap.”
 
[To Hinata and Sasuke] [Third person’s POV.]
 
         There was a lifeless body lying on the ground. Sasuke approached the body with shaky legs praying that it was not his brother. When he got a better look, he was wrong. Itachi was lying with blood flowing down from his mouth. Hinata quickly ran toward the body and checked his heartbeat while Sasuke was already crying. A gasp from Hinata made Sasuke flinched.
 
Hinata: “I can’t sense his heartbeat….”
