Part 17

I ‘gently’ picked her up and laid her down on her bedsheet. I caressed her hair and leaned close to her. With a kiss on her forehead,
 
“Have a sweet dream with your mother, princess.”
 
Jugo: “It’s rare to see Sasuke like this.” I flinched at the voice. I quickly turned around.
Sasuke: “She will wake up.” I didn’t lie to Jugo because he is not noisy like Karin and Suigetsu.
Jugo: “So you have feelings for her?” He started walking away.
Sasuke: “Maybe.” I gave the same answer again while catching up to Jugo.
Jugo: “I am glad for you Sasuke.” He smiled at me.
Sasuke: “For what?” I raised an eyebrow and gave a questioning look.
Jugo: “You used to be filled with hate and anger but now you got a taste of love, worry, and happiness.” He smiled.
Sasuke: “I need advice Jugo.” I was serious. 
 
[Time skips]
 
Hinata: “Good morning Sasuke-san.” I looked beside me. Hinata has an excited expression and is energetic. 
Sasuke: “Hn. Morning. Jugo where is Karin and Suigetsu?” I looked through and saw Karin arguing with Suigetsu.
Jugo: “As usual. Sasuke, I got some information. Naruto and Sakura are looking for you.” I sighed at his words.
Hinata: “Naruto-kun?” I flinched at Hinata’s words.
Sasuke: “Do you know him?” She said she was kept underground and didn’t have any friends. My eyebrow furrowed.
Hinata: “I heard my dad talking about him.” She smiles at me. I didn’t have any doubt on her because of her smile.
Sasuke: “We should get moving soon. It will be a problem if they find us.” Jugo nodded and shouted to two idiots.
Jugo: “Karin, Suigetsu. Let’s get going.” Jugo's voice made those two stop and run toward us.
Sasuke: “Let’s go. I started to sprint as fast as possible.” Hinata and Jugo can match my pace while Karin and Suigetsu whined a lot. After half an hour, I stepped in front of a snake figure cave. It’s so dark inside that we can’t see anything. I activated my Sharingen and saw a man approaching. Hinata got ready and went into their clan fighting style and Jugo and Suigetsu are alert. 
Kabuto: “Sasuke-sama. Welcome.” I nodded at my friends telling them not to worry. 
Sasuke: “Where is Orochimaru?” Karin, Jugo, and Suigetsu flinched at the mention of Orochimaru while Hinata is checking the surrounding. 
Kabuto: “He is waiting for you inside Sasuke-sama.”
Sasuke: “Lead the way.” I said sternly. The others followed me. The place hasn’t changed a bit. It’s the same place that I used to stay before joining the war. The hallway is lit with torches and at the end of the hallway, there are several paths that can make a person lost easily. Kabuto stopped in front of a room. 
 Kabuto: “Sasuke-sama, if I am not mistaken is this girl a Hyuuga?” His glass shined from the light.
Sasuke: “She is.” I answered coldly. They are going to do experiments on her as they did on me. I am not letting that happen. If Hinata is in their hand and received a curse mark, she will be a dangerous weapon. 
Kabuto: “May I know your name?” He turned to Hinata with a smirk on his face. I stepped in front of Hinata and covered her with my arms.
Sasuke: “She is Hinata and let me warn you. She is not for experiments.” Kabuto showed disappointment on his face at the end of my words.
Kabuto: “If you say so Sasuke-sama. Hinata, Karin, Jugo and Suigetsu can wait in this room. Sasuke-sama Orochimaru in the next room.”
Sasuke: “I will take Hina with me.” I looked at her and she nodded. She didn’t seem scared. I smirked. She looked focused. We stepped in front of another door. Kabuto knocked twice.
Kabuto: “Orochimaru-sama. Sasuke-sama is here along with another person.” He looked at Hinata who is facing the door with no expression. 
Orochimaru: “Let them in.” The door slowly opened and I stepped in to see Orochimaru reading a scroll.
Orochimaru: “Welcome, Sasuke-kun. Ohh A Hyuuga.” He turned to us and talked with his usual sly tone. “Is it a gift for me Sasuke-kun?” He continued.
Sasuke: “No, she is mine.” I saw Hinata flinched at my words and her face is becoming red. I chuckled mentally. Orochimaru laughed at my sentence and he stopped when he realized that I am serious. A white snake is released from his arm to bite my neck. I didn’t move a muscle. A pale palm caught the snake and held it tightly just inches far away from my neck.
Hinata: “What’s the meaning of this?” Her voice is cold and rough not like her usual self. 
Orochimaru: “I see why Sasuke wants you.” He chuckled dryly leaving Hinata in confusion. He called his snake back and Hina let it go.
Sasuke: “Enough with this. I will stay here for some time. The leaf ninjas are tracking us down.” I started to walk out of the room with Hinata. 
Orochimaru: “Kabuto, give this girl a room along with Karin.” He ordered the white-haired man.
Kabuto: “As your wish Orochimaru-sama.” He nodded and started walking away,
Orochimaru: “Sasuke-kun, would you like to stay alone?” I gave a nod and went out of the room. I faced Hinata.
Sasuke: “Don’t go after Kabuto or Orochimaru without my permission ok?” I put my hands on her shoulders. She smiled at me.
Hinata: “Okay.” I smiled at her and saw Kabuto coming back. I took my hands back and put them inside my pocket. I went into the room where Jugo and the rest are along with Hinata. 
Jugo: “How was it?” He was concerned and sweating.
Sasuke: “Fine.” I answered bluntly. 
Kabuto: “Karin, you will share the room with Hinata.” Kabuto mentioned Karin and she scoffed. We went to our rooms. Jugo and Suigetsu are staying in a room in the first room of the hall while Karin and Hinata are next room and I am in the last room. I took my shirt off and tried to take a bath before a heard an explosion. 
Anonymous: “CHA!!!” The ground shook and a loud cracking sound was heard.
Hinata: “Gentle fist: Rotation.” I heard her voice.
 
     I quickly run out of my room and entered the next room breaking the door and saw a hole in the wall revealing Hinata in a fighting stance while Karin is taking cover.
 
Sasuke: “Sakura……”
