Sasuhina "My enemy became my lover"

Part 13

“Before I stepped back I leaned again closer this time. Leaving a kiss on her rosy cheeks.” 
 
Sasuke: “I am hungry. Let’s eat something Hina.”
 
[Hinata’s POV]
     Again, he left me speechless and a weird feeling. I could feel the warmth he left on my cheeks where he kissed me. I don’t know what to feel, I have never kissed someone or I never got a kiss from someone. I don’t know what to feel. I do know something his eyes are more calm and soft now. I got a flashback of his obsidian eyes which I find attractive. I was so lost in my thoughts that I have been standing there for like 2 minutes without blinking. 
 
Jugo: “Hinata-san?” I heard Jugo's voice and shook my head.
Hinata: “Yes. I am coming.” I quickly started walking toward them where they are grilling fish. I saw Sasuke sitting on the ground with a frown on his face. Suigetsu is talking something to Sasuke and laughing. Karin gave an annoyed expression towards Suigetsu but smiled at Sasuke. I saw Sasuke with his arrogant face. 
 
Jugo: “So Sasuke. When will we leave?” As soon as Jugo spoke, Sasuke turned to us took a glance at me, and gave me a quick smile before talking to Jugo.
Sasuke: “After eating. Come Hina.” He patted the space beside him.
Hinata: “I am coming.” I smiled at him and sat at the place he referred. I cloud smell his coffee scent. I have never seen him drinking coffee though. What an idiot, it has been only 3 days since I met him. I facepalmed myself mentally. I can see someone handing me a fish from the corner. I looked up to the person who is holding the fish none other than Sasuke. I was staring at his smooth hand for some seconds.
 
Hinata: “Thanks, Sasuke-san.” I took the fish and gave him a grateful smile which he returned with his ‘Hn’ as usual. I started chewing on the fish that Karin grilled and I almost choked after a bite.
Suigetsu: “YOUR FISH IS BURNT.” Suigetsu shouted. When I looked beside me I could see Sasuke’s pale face which is showing that he is going to die somehow. Jugo handed Sasuke water.
Jugo: “Are you ok sasuke?” He was laughing slightly at Sasuke's expression. Sasuke quickly drank the water and let out a sigh. I giggled at him. 
Sasuke:” What kind of food is this Karin? His voice is slightly filled with anger.
Karin: “Maybe, I overcooked it a little.” She chuckled with an awkward tone.
Suigetsu: “I didn’t know that the great UCHIHA SASUKE is getting killed by a burnt fish.” He mocked and laughed at the same time. Jugo and Karin started laughing also when I just chuckled inside. 
Sasuke: “Shut up or I will kill you.” I saw his sharingen activated and he was really angry. The others stopped laughing and sat silently. The silence was awkward. 
Hinata: “I will go and catch the fish again.” I said to others. I got their attention fully.
Suigetsu: “Make sure you don’t burn the fish like Karin or you will get killed by Sasuke.” He is laughing again. ‘Geez just much this guy can laugh’ I talked to myself.
Hinata: “Don’t worry. I am a good cook. Am I right Sasuke-san?” I tried to lower his anger level.
Sasuke: “Yes.” His face softens and chuckled. “Expect the fact that you cook a lot.” He started laughing gently at his statement which cause me to blush in embarrassment. 
Hinata: “You ate them all in the end.” I teased him back. “I didn’t know you can eat that much Sasuke-san.” He turned his face away.
Sasuke: “Just go already I am hungry.” He tried to avoid the topic which I think is cute. I went down to the stream and caught some fish. I didn’t take so much time and went back to them as I know they were hungry. I saw them laughing except for Sasuke. I wonder how he can remain that face?  
Jugo: “Sasuke, you should smile more often you know. Come on, enjoy life.” He put his arm around Sasuke’s shoulder. 
Sasuke: “Hn. I have an important thing to do.” His face filled with rage when he mentioned that.
Karin: “Killing Itachi?” She asked with a serious tone.
Sasuke: “Don’t you ever speak that name in front of me.” He shouted. I was shocked because he never raised his voice before. Everyone went silent again. I wonder who is Itachi but I am not someone to ask about their personal lives. As long as I know, they all are afraid of Sasuke.
Sasuke: “Are you going to stand there forever Hina?” He turned back at me and give me a smile that cannot be noticed easily but I can see it. He was just so mad a while ago and now he is smiling? I wonder what changed him. I quickly run toward them and almost tripped on a stone.
Sasuke: “Be careful, you don’t need to run.” He said with concern which made everyone surprised. I managed to keep my balance and chuckled a bit.
Hinata: “Sorry, hehe.”
Sasuke: “Idiot. He sat down again.”
Hinata: “Stop giving me nicknames Sasuke-san.” I pouted like a 4-year-old.
Jugo: “I noticed that he calls you Hina.”
Suigetsu: “Really? It’s true. Sasuke gave a nickname to a girl.” He said with a mocking tone.
Sasuke: “Hn.” He didn’t respond. He just put the wood on the ground and made some hand signs before inhaling the air.
Sasuke: “Fire style; Fire ball Jutsu.” The right amount of fire came out making the wood to be burnt. The silence came until Jugo start a conversation.
Jugo: “So Hinata-san, would you like to introduce yourself because you are new.”
Hinata: “Well, I don’t know where to start. So I am Hinata Hyuuga, the eldest daughter of Hiashi Hyuuga head of the clan. Before my mother got killed father used to be so kind to us.” My voice became shaky and my vision became a blur. I continue talking.
Hinata: “After my mother's funeral, he took me somewhere which I realized that it was an underground training area. I was put in there for one goal. To destroy the Uchiha clan. I had to train day and night until I collapse. Now I am 17, I have never talked to anyone except my clans or had any friends. I don’t know much about myself.” I chuckled at my statement.
Jugo: “I am sorry to hear that.” His voice is filled with regret.
Hinata: “it’s ok Jugo-san. If I haven’t kept and trained hard, I won’t be here because I will get killed in the war. I get to meet with Sasuke-san, Suigetsu-san and Karin-san and Jugo-san. I am happy.” I smiled brightly and I know I meant every word I said.
 

[Sasuke’s POV.]
     I just looked at her smile. It’s bright. No matter how cruel her father is, no matter how dark her past is, she wasn’t tainted. She chose to love and appreciate what she has while I chose revenge. Dark and lonely path. She is a lotus that came out from the mud yet still beautiful and innocent. The dirt can’t ruin her beauty. A beautiful lotus that never lost hope when the mud covered her.
“She continued to live and now she has bloomed brightly under the moon.”
