Riki didn't come home overnight.

Seonwoo woke up with an aching back after sleeping on the couch, waiting for Riki.

He was worried. Heck, his roommate carries gun with him and is ‘finishing’ his training. All the ideas and scenarios kept Seonwoo thinking overnight. And even though he fell asleep, he dreamt of it.

Riki trying to escape from five men, dodging all the bullets coming to his way. He had a bullet wound on his left feet making him run slowly. Men are approaching him, firing bullets after bullets. Riki's body fell onto the cold floor, blood running off his body and before he dies, Seonwoo woke up.

Although it was only a dream, Seonwoo couldn't help but wonder where the heck is Riki. He tried getting the thoughts off his head by actually getting ready for work faster than ever.

It was once again Sunghoon who drove him to work.

“Do you know where's Riki?” Seonwoo asked, looking over at the silent driver.

“No,” was the only word left Sunghoon's mouth.

Seonwoo only nodded. He didn't want to ask anymore question because this guy seems to hate the world. As if he'll burst mad if Seonwoo would open his mouth once more. Yes, Sunghoon is that scary in Seonwoo's opinion.

When they reached the company, Seonwoo was confuse as to why the driver was following him. Usually, he would only stay inside the car.

“You're not allowed to go inside right now,” Sunghoon speaks when Seonwoo walk past his original desk.

Seonwoo look upfront, finding an unfamiliar man standing before the chairman's office alone. He could also see three figures inside.

Seonwoo continued walking, only stopping when the man on the door extended his arm to guard the door.

“A VIP is inside, you can't just barge in,” Sunghoon speaks again.

“I'm just going to look,” Seonwoo said, peeking at the door.

The chairman was casually sitting on his seat, while another person sat in front of him. Seonwoo felt somehow relieved when he sees Riki standing beside the two.

Their eyes meet and Seonwoo smiled at him, but Riki only rolled his eyes at him before avoiding his gaze.

Seonwoo then turned around facing the two person behind him.

“Do you guys want some tea? Or anything you like?” Seonwoo asked politely.

“Coffee please—”

“No I don't like—”

Seonwoo watched as the two exchanged deadly glares. He clears his throat to lessen the tension.

“Okay, coffee for...” Seonwoo speaks.

“Heeseung, Lee Heeseung,” the other man speaks.

“Tsk,” Sunghoon then walks away.

Seonwoo awkwardly looked at the man, Lee Heeseung, who only smiles at him before going back to standing straight like a guard.

Seonwoo proceeded to prepare a coffee for the man, wondering if guards are allowed to drink some while on duty.

“Are you allowed to have this?” Seonwoo curiously asked while handing the coffee to Heeseung.

“Of course,” Heeseung shrugged, taking a sip from his hot cup of coffee.

Seonwoo peeked inside again, watching as the chairman speaks nonstop. Riki looked annoyed, and just as Seonwoo was about to walk away, the VIP look at him before smiling.

Riki is home.

Finally, Seonwoo can rest assured that his roommate was fine. Except questions are still left unanswered. Seonwoo wouldn't push it, he knew Riki was having a rough time with his ‘training’.

He looked tired and worn out. He's been spacing out more than the last time, as if something has been bugging him.

Seonwoo prepared him milkshakes, knowing all too well that it will cheer up the younger boy.

“Can I please have coffee instead?” Riki politely asked, looking up at him.

Seonwoo didn't speak and just made a cup of coffee for his roommate.

“Here,” Seonwoo sat in front of Riki after placing the black coffee on the table.

Seonwoo took the milkshake in his hand and drink it himself, while Riki did the same to his coffee.

They sat in silence, gulping their drinks.

“It's not the same,” suddenly, Riki speaks.

He was looking down, staring at his empty cup of coffee.

“Shooting targets and shooting actual people,” Riki continued.

Seonwoo remained silent, listening. He doesn't know how to react to that.

“Seonwoo-hyung,”

Seonwoo could hear the faint sound of sobs in Riki's voice. His eyes tearing up, before the liquids fell straight to his cup of coffee.

“I killed someone.”
