Riki watched the stars on the sky, enjoying the cold air embracing him.
“Are you happy it went well?” Jake speaks from beside him, driving.
Riki nodded.
They're gone for two days. The meeting went well, no gunshots and hostaging. It went peaceful and both parties agreed to a certain point. The only thing that made the deal this long was the fact that other agents have been hacking their code continuesly.
Riki excerted a lot of effort in creating multiple codes to confuse the hacker before finally having a safe one.
He'd be home safe, just as he promised.
“Ni-ki,” Jake called his name.
His voice always sounded so calm and soothing, mother-like.
“Tell him all your worries, I'm sure he'll understand.”
“You think so?” Riki asked.
“Mhm,” Jake hums in response. “We all think so.”
Riki let out a laugh, “Can you all stop watching over us?”
Jake laughs as well.
“I still remember the day Mr. Park brought you home. Jay was mad thinking he had another illegitimate sibling, but look at how he protects you now,” Jake reminisced.
Riki looked from behind their car.
Jay was never hideous. He could easily notice the amount of person following him eversince his last mission. Jay won't even allow Riki to go in a mission alone. He always have someone guiding him, be it Sunghoon, Heeseung, Jake and sometimes even Jay himself.
They were the person Riki treasures the most. Someone he could call a family. They grew up together and they all know every single detail about each other.
“You grew up too fast, you're now having love problems while Heeseung-hyung still haven't had one,” Jake speaks.
“You're talking as if you're my parent,” Riki rolled his eyes.
“Ah, right,” Jake slowed down the car.
“What?” Riki asked.
“Let's get your wound checked up first. It isn't fully healed, yet, right?”
Riki looked down on his stomach covered with clothes.
“That's your first wound ever since you started training, I'm sure you had a hard time,” Jake said again, having a U-turn on the road.
“But I wanna go home,” Riki pouted, like a child.
“It can wait, Ni-ki,” Jake laughs fondly at his child-like action.
He slouched on the sit, still pouting.
He missed Seonwoo.
He also knew that the older boy have been worrying about him a lot. Riki wanted to assure him he was safe, no additional wounds.
And he's finally back home.
But Jake have another plan, ugh.
