Riki could only watch at how Heeseung comforts a crying Jake all night.
He himself couldn't sleep. He was half worried, half mad.
Jake talked about trusting Seonwoo like he doesn't doubt Sunghoon. He talked about trusting Sunghoon so confident but then he turned his back at him even before they know what's really happening on the house.
Riki knew something, but he couldn't just talk about it. He was not in the place and it was not his fault that everything came to this.
He knew Sunghoon saw them leave yesterday, but it was a mystery how he still haven't contacted them yet.
“Are you sure you can drive alone?” Heeseung asked again.
Riki only nodded, fixing his hair with his fingers.
“Okay,” Heeseung then agreed, “Punch him for me, he deserved three.”
Riki let out a smile as he shook his head, “Should I just tell Jay-hyung about this? He will probably scold him to death.”
Heeseung laughs as well, “I've seen the clips you sent me last night, but Jake wouldn't watch it.”
Riki only shrug, taking the keys out of Heeseung's grip. “Not my fault they're both stupid. I need to go, Seonwoo must be waiting.”
Riki waved his goodbye as he struggle walking out Jake's house.
Heeseung followed behind him.
“Happy birthday, Ni-ki,” Heeseung says before Riki could enter the car.
Riki smiles, feeling excited as he drove the car back home.
Only to find it empty.
There was no Seonwoo waiting in the terrace.
Riki have searched the whole house calling for his name. Even Sunghoon was out of sight.
All Riki have seen was the empty cans of beer scattered on the floor amd empty bags of junk foods.
Where are they?
Riki was close to crying when he felt his phone vibrated. He took it out and read the text carefully.
It was a message sent by Sunghoon.
I took Seonwoo home.
Riki couldn't help but tear up.
Home? But this is our home...
Seonwoo breaks his promise of waiting home, again.
