🏡Silent Replies

Seonwoo haven't even had a single bite of his lunch when his name was announce, the chairman is looking for him.

He frowned, making sure he's walking slowly to delay his arrival.

He's been starving real bad. The loads of work Mr. Park have given him this morning was no joke. He had to finish everything and delay his lunch for two hours. Now that he's finally having a time to eat, Mr. Park would call him.

Great.

When he entered the office, he sees the chairman laughing on his desk. While Riki stood straight in front of him.

When Riki notices Seonwoo, he kicks the chairman's table.

The chairman was quick to change his expression, from laughing to just smiling. The chairman cleared his throat.

“Your driver is back, you can finally go home now,” Mr. Park speaks.

Seonwoo looks at Riki, who was currently glaring at the chairman.

“And maybe get lunch on your way home,” the chairman continued speaking, “Go on, before I get killed by one ungrateful cousin here.”

Seonwoo gave the chairman one final glance before leaving the office.

That was it.

Seonwoo doesn't know if Riki still didn't want to talk to him or it was something else. He could feel Riki's intense stare, but he decided not to think about it too much.

If Riki wanted space, he's willing to give it to him.

They ate late lunch together with no words leaving their lips. Silently agreeing that there will be no more dinner for later.

After that, Riki locked himself on his room.

Seonwoo did the same. He locked himself on his room and used his free time to over-think.

Before midnight, Seonwoo sat up on his bed. He needed to let Riki know about his thoughts, atleast.

“Riki,” he called, staring at the thin wall separating him from the younger.

“Riki,”

Riki opened his eyes after hearing his name.

“I'm glad you're home safe,”

Riki let a smile spread on his lips.

He'd been waiting to hear those words since the moment he has seen him on Jay's office.

“Me too,” Riki whispered, although he knew Seonwoo couldn't hear it.

“I'm not sure if you're still mad, but I'll give you peace until you actually started talking to me again.”

I'm not mad, Riki thought.

“Riki,”

Mhm,

“I miss you.”

I miss you too.
