Seonwoo opened the door of his bedroom and sees Riki sitting on his bed.

Seonwoo had to double check if he entered the right room. Indeed he was. His name was spelled on the door using bright stickers.

“Can I sleep here?” Riki speak first, breaking the awkwardness between them.

Seonwoo fought hard to hide the smile on his lips. He thought Riki would ignore him still, just like what he did in the morning.

“Are you having another mission?” Seonwoo asked, acting cool.

Riki shook his head.

“Nightmares again?” Seonwoo asked.

“Kind of.”

The sadness lingering on Riki's voice made Seonwoo stare at the younger. He doesn't seem so worn out like the past week they've been fighting.

Riki then breaks into a smile, “Kidding, I know you miss me.”

Seonwoo rolled his eyes but he still let a smile spread over his lips.

Riki stood up, opening his arms wide and Seonwoo didn't fought over the urge to hug the younger boy.

Riki hugged the older back.

Home. This feels like home.

“I'm sorry,” Riki speaks. “I'm not mad at you, or anything like. I was just having second thoughts...and fears.”

Seonwoo didn't respond, he was busy trying to stop himself from crying.

It had been almost a month since Riki disappeared for a whole two weeks, leaving Seonwoo worrying about his safety. And when Riki came back, he distance himself from him.

They had a fight, and Riki leaves for another mission.

Seonwoo was left worrying again.

“Seonwoo, I'm afraid that if I stick with you still, I'll get attached deeper. Hanbin-hyung's death left a great fear on me,” Riki confessed.

“I'm afraid my job will ruin your life, and I will not be able to protect you. I'm afraid to promise you I'll always be back home, safe, because I know I couldn't always be safe. I'm afraid I'll disappoint you, if ever I could not make it home. I'm afraid...”

Seonwoo tightened his arms around Riki's body, securing the boy with his hold.

“I'm afraid you don't feel the same way I do,” Riki finished his confession, tears already brimming off his eyes.

“I'm afraid too, Riki,” Seonwoo responded, “That I'll lose you before I could have you.”
