It's already past midnight when the duo arrived at their rented house after a long day of work.
The first thing that Riki did was sit in front of a laptop and open the monitor connected to the cameras installed in A-HO.
It's already been three hours and he's still watching the monitor without blinking. He didn't even bother to change his clothes on.
“Take some rest, Riki. We still have a lot of things to do tomorrow,” Jake speaks as he walk behind Riki, the water dripping from his wet hair.
Riki only shrugged, eyes glued to the screen.
Sunghoon and Seonwoo were still awake. They are watching movie on the living room. They even made a fort where they could hide from the cameras. It's making Riki's curiousity go past the limit, his jealousy acting again.
He knew they were still awake, because there were cans of beer outside the fort and he have seen Sunghoon's hand reach for it just a minute ago.
He took a mental note to install a microphone next time.
Riki watched with glaring eyes as Seonwoo crawled out from the fort. He goes straight to the kitchen and took something from a cabinet. A bottle of something Riki couldn't process, the camera angle was too bad and Seonwoo's hand was covering the entire name of it.
“They're still awake?” Jake asked as he pulled a chair to sit beside Riki.
They both watch as Seonwoo enters the fort again.
“You should trust Seonwoo more than this,” Jake says.
“I do trust him,” Riki speaks, voice cold.
“Then why would you install cameras in the first place? And you've been watching all his move every time you get a chance,” Jake says, glancing at Riki.
The expression on Riki's face remained the same.
“It's only normal that they get close to each other, there's no wrong with that,” Jake speaks again. “They're just friends.”
Riki nodded.
“Do you trust Sunghoon-hyung that much?” Riki asked.
Jake nodded, smiling.
“Look,” Riki says, pointing at the monitor.
Jake look at it as well. The smile in his face slowly fading out as he saw how Sunghoon emerges from the fort shirtless.
Riki look at the person beside him. He saw how Jake unconsciously reaches for the necklace hanging on his neck, his fingers playing with the ring dangling on it.
It is the pair of the ring in Sunghoon's necklace as well. The one their parents gave Sunghoon before they died. It was the ring that Sunghoon gave Jake three years ago.
“I'm returning the trust he gave me three years ago,” Jake whispers. “We never know what's really happening there. He said they're just friends and I will believe his words until the proofs are clear enough to prove my doubt.”
Jake stood up from his seat and patted Riki's back, “Come to sleep before the sun rises.”
Riki watch as Jake enters one of the rooms, leaving him alone in front of the monitor.
Seonwoo emerges from the fort as well, just as Riki looked back at the monitor. He was clutching Sunghoon's shirt in his arms as he was crawling out. When he stood up, he tripped on his own feet and fell on to the floor.
Sunghoon came into the sight, laughing, but then he realized something and suddenly came to a stop as he watch Seonwoo getting up the floor.
Riki followed each and every move they made as they quickly pick something from the floor and hide it back inside the fort.
Sunghoon then made an eye contact to the camera.
Riki's glare intensifies.
