A few mornings later Mallory has just arrived at the district after dropping Lucas off at daycare. The man who shot her is in custody
"He needs interviewed, you wanna do it?" Voight asks
"Sure" Mallory sighs as she walks in
"Jackson Miller, not really a cop killer kind of name is it?" Mallory smiles
"Your the-" Jackson says
"Cop you shot? The one who's adding to your charge, so nice of you to notice me" Mallory laughs as she sits down
"Bitch" Jackson mutters
"Call me a bitch all you want, I have the authority to put you away for life so I suggest you shut your mouth" Mallory spat
After 5 minutes Mallory walks out and hands the notes to Voight
"Well?" He asks
"Confessed to everything, threw Ramon under the bus too" Mallory smiled as Antonio ran in
"Where is she?!" He yells
"Who?" Jay asks
"You! Your bitch!" Antonio yells as he goes to lunge for Mallory
"Hey!" Voight yells as he stops him
"Lucas Severide! Really?!" Antonio yells
"You tried to take my son from daycare!" Mallory says
"My son! Okay my SON! Not some firefighters son!" Antonio yells
"Oh please! Kelly was there! Where were you when he got his first tooth! Huh?! Back with your ex wife after leaving her?! After knocking up the 25 year old!?" Mallory yells
"He's my son! You can't take that away from me! Your no good for him!" Antonio yells
"Oh please-" Mallory adds
"The woman who jumps from man to woman! After she gets bored with one they cheat on her and leave her! Then she goes on a bender and takes a shit load of drugs! But it doesn't leave the district because she's voights little golden child! What did you do? Sleep with him too?!" Antonio screams
"Hey! That's enough!" Voight yells
"Get off me!" Antonio yells as he pushes Voight away
Mallory reaches her hand down and touches her gun, she then looks down to see a hand on her hand.
"Don't" Hailey mutters
"I think you need some time to cool down" Jay suggests
"Slut" Antonio spat
Mallory turns and walks away, she heads to the locker room
"You good?" Hailey asks
"I'm fine, I'm always fine" Mallory adds
"He's just being a jerk, he knows what he did was wrong" Hailey adds
"I get it, I don't need a lecture" Mallory spat
"Copy that" Hailey says as she walks away
The day went by in a blur, it was the end of shift. For some reason Mallory couldn't get over it, everything that had happened today. She walks over to her purse and pulls out a small bag of coke. She sits at her desk, looking at it before she takes it....
