Chapter 39 - Do i need to test you?

*Mallory's POV*
The car ride home, seemed longer than usual. Antonio couldn't bare to look at me, so I had to break the unwanted silence
"I'm sorry" I admitted
"What for Mal? Having a fun night with an ex con! Voight is going to kill you!" Antonio snaps
"I didn't know until it was too late" I added as I felt the tears well up in my eyes
"Do I need to test you?" Antonio asks as my heart drops
"Just because my life is hell right now doesn't mean I would turn to drugs! I see people everyday who's life has been put on hold because of them!" I yelled
"I don't know what to think anymore" Antonio adds as he comes to a red light
I then hop out of the car
"Where are you going?!" Antonio yells
"I'm walking home!" I ordered
"It's a 5 mile walk!" Antonio argues
"Let's hope I don't get jumped" I yelled before slamming the door
*Present Day*
It's the next morning and Mallory has just arrived at work. She's making herself a coffee when Upton walks in
"I'm sorry Mal" She explains
"No! You've said everything you need to say now it's my turn! Yes shay turned out to be a total bitch and that was my fault! I was attracted to you for a split second Upton! I'm not anymore! And maybe I'm not the pathetic one! Because your still drooling over me! Just get over me already!" Mallory yells as she clenches her fists
"As I've said multiple times! I didn't get into bed with Devon! I would have been loyal!" Upton yells
"All of this because of a stupid kid! Do you know where babies really come from? They come from men who sit on their ass all the time! And they come from women who want to grow up too fast!" Mallory yells
"Is that really the problem or was she the problem! Take a minute to think about that!" Upton yells before walking out
Mallory feels like she can finally let off some steam do she drives to the firehouse to let it all out
"Princess" Mouch says as he pulls Mallory into a hug
"Hey dad, do you know where shay is?" Mallory asks
"In Kelly's quarters" Mouch adds
Mallory then walks to Kelly's quarters to see shay sitting. Mallory then walks in
"I still love you! But after what you did to me i can't take you back!" Mallory yells
"I am not having this conversation" Shay yells
"No we are! Your going to listen to me! Upton was perfect for me! From the moment I met her I knew that! And I like Upton! I'm really trying here to be happy! But you always get in the way of that!" Mallory yells
"I gave you the chance! I told you that we can get over this! But of course you chose little miss hottie over me!" Shay yells
"I didn't chose her! I stayed with you! You were the one who messed up! Remember?" Mallory adds softly before walking out
