"Everything sorted?" Upton asks smiling
"Ugh boys! Who would have them" Mallory replies as she sits in her seat
"You headed out?" Upton asks as she grabs her bags
"Nah I need to clear this stuff up with Diego. It's probably going to be another late one" Mallory says as she smiles
"Okay well I'm gonna head out. I'll se you tomorrow Davis" Upton says as she walks out
"Goodnight Upton" Mallory shouts as she gets on with her work
An hour passes and Mallory has had tons of missed calls and text from shay. She needs to finish the report but is also kind of ignoring her. Mallory looks up when she hears someone
"Davis!" Upton says as she stands with a bag in her hand
"Upton?" Mallory asks
"I thought you might need a little pick me up! So I brought Chinese!" Upton says as she puts the bag on her desk
"Your a lifesaver!" Mallory says as Upton starts to dish out the food
"So tell me about the famous Mallory Davis!" Upton says as she takes a bite of her spring roll
"It's not that special" Mallory adds as she takes a bite of her food
"Do you know who you look like?" Upton says as she leans back in her chair
"Who do I look like? Someone beautiful like Scarlett Johansson?" Mallory asks as Upton laughs
"I was going to say Platt from downstairs" Upton says as Mallory smiles
"Bingo!" Mallory mutters
"What?" Upton asks as she smiles
"Platt is my mom!" Mallory says as Upton burrows her brows
"Woah! How'd that happen?" Upton asks as she moves closer to Mallory
"Well you see when 2 people love each other" Mallory explains before Upton cuts her off
"I know how it happens! But isn't your last name Davis?" Upton asks
"Platt and Mouch decided to put me up for adoption so I grew up with another family hence the last name Davis" Mallory explains
"Mallory platt, has a nice ring to it" Upton adds as Mallory gets back to work
"So that Diego? He a good kid?" Upton asks as he walks around
"Extremely. He gets straight A's in school. He's going to collage to become a cop!" Mallory explains as she finishes up the last of her files
"And yet you wonder why they end up in the back of a cop car" Upton adds as she sits back down
Upton sits down and looks Mallory in the eyes. Before kissing her....
