Chapter 67 - Hot Head

A week later, Mallory hasn't left the house. Lucas hasn't either. She has been isolated in her room alongside him. Kelly has been trying his best to look after her but she's pushing him away.
"You've gotta eat Mal" Kelly said softly
"I'm fine Kelly, can you watch Lucas? I've gotta take care of something real quick" Mallory said as she grabbed her keys
Mallory jumped into her car and drove downtown, she walked down an alley way to see Hailey standing
"Thought we were done with the whole drug thing?" She asked
"I need it okay" Mallory muttered
"No! Do you know what you need! Rehab! Your a mom now Mal! What's Lucas going to think when he grows up without a mom because you overdosed?! Huh?! Your a fucking cop Mal! We go through life teaching people not to do this!" Hailey yelled
"Why the hell do you care?! Last time I checked you picked Jay over me?!" Mallory yelled
"Hey! That's not fair! You picked shay over me when you knew fine well she was cheating on you Mal! Then you flung yourself at whatever you could find before flinging yourself at Antonio! And how did that end? Oh yeah another breakup!" Hailey yelled
"I got Lucas out of that relationship! Im more than happy" Mallory yelled
"Your not though are you? Funny that isn't it? You flung yourself at Kelly when you had no where to go!" Hailey yelled
"No Hailey! You believed Antonio over me! Remember! You turned the whole unit against me! So no wonder getting high is a joy for me! No one is here for me!" Mallory yelled
"I'm here! I've always been here! I loved you Mal! Do you know how heartbroken I was when you chose shay! And then when you chose Kelly! We could've raised Lucas together" Hailey yelled
"Don't bother. You would've left me for Jay either way!" Mallory yelled
"That's your problem mal! You push everyone who's ever had an interest in you out! I practically threw myself at you! But you pushed me away!" Hailey yelled
"Oh please! Don't act like your so in love with me Hailey! We both know your not. Now go home, jays waiting on you" Mallory yelled
"Let me prove it to you mal" Hailey yelled
"Kissing me isn't going to show me anything. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to go get high" Chloe yelled
"Your pathetic Mallory, I hope you know that" Hailey muttered before walking off
