It's a week later and Mallory has just dropped by the firehouse to pick up shay. They are looking at wedding venues today
"Hey you" Shay says as she hugs her
"You ready to go?" Mallory asks as shay nods
It's an hour and a half later and they still haven't picked a venue.
"Ugh I hate this!" Shay says as she gets back in the car
"It's not that bad" Mallory adds as she starts to drive
"We have seen 8 venues! And still haven't picked one!" Shay yells
"Okay! I get it! Just one more then we can go home!" Mallory says as she turns into the last venue
Mallory and shay get out the car. As they are walking up they can hear gunshots followed by people screaming
"Get back" Mallory says as she pushes shay behind her and pulls out her gun
Mallory can then see people flooding out the venue and she stops one of them
"Hey! I'm a cop! What's going on in there?" Mallory asks as she shows the lady her badge
"A man just walked in, started calling the receptionist all sorts of names! Then the manager came in and he pulled out a gun!" The frantic woman explains
"Okay, does he have any hostages?" Mallory asks as she puts her badge away
"Like 3 or 4!" The woman yells as she runs
Mallory braces herself until she feels a hand on her shoulder
"Your not going in there are you?" Shay asks
"I've got to. Here's my radio, I need you to call it in!" Mallory adds as she gives shay her radio
"Just" Shay says as Mallory turns around
"Be careful okay?" Shay adds
"I always am" Mallory adds before running in
Mallory runs through the doors with her gun in her hand. She can see a woman sitting in the corner
"He's in there" she whispers
"Get out" Mallory whispers as the woman runs past her
Mallory walks slowly into the room with the man and the hostages
"Chicago PD! Get your hands where I can see them!" Mallory yells as she holds her gun up to him
"Huh! There letting women join the CPD now? Wow! Are they wanting the police system to fail?" The man yells
"I suggest you shut up! Because I have the ability to blow off your head right now and not do time for it!" Mallory yells
"What are you gonna do? Slap me! Oh lord I'm so scared!" The man shouts
A noise that one of the hostages makes turns his attention away from Mallory. Mallory kicks him which causes him to move forward
"Your going to pay for that!" The man yells as he pulls the trigger...
