Xavier pov

I left Fiona in our room when I saw that she's still asleep as soon as I close the door, I heard my phone ringing so I took it from my pocket and answer it immediately when I knew who was calling

"yeah, Lucas?"

"Hey bro, dalton came here at my place last night and he's asking me about you!"

I suddenly stunned after I heard what he said I'm expecting that dalton was coming to one of our friends just to gain some information about where Fiona and I were staying but I still couldn't help to feel worried especially to Fiona. I'm afraid that anytime they could find this place and took Fiona away from me again.

I took a deep breath to clear my mind and to find a better idea to get fiona away from them

"I'm sorry Lucas I knew I'm bothering you this time but you guys are the only person I have to help me this time, could you help me again one more time?"

"bro you're already bothering me and I don't mind you bother me again I just hate how drake treated me as his servant when he's commanding me to get a better idea to help you u*hh I swear bro I look like his slave, instead his friend!"

I laugh at the way Lucas complain about drake but I knew both of them was doing well to help me and fiona and I thank them both for helping me

"so, what's your favor this time?"

I cleared my throat and spoke again

"can you book us a flight to America? we want to leave tomorrow morning"

"Alright bro I can do that I'll call you right away"

"Alright thanks, Lucas"

after I ended the call I took a deep breath again I feel frustrated I know it's my fault why all of this are happening...if I could realize my feelings to Fiona when it's still early then our situation could be even better than now

"Xavier?"

I turn around when I heard that voice and I saw fiona looking at me worriedly while rubbing her eyes I quickly approached her

"Hey I'm sorry did I wake you up?"

I ask worriedly thinking she heard my conversation with lucas but she just shook her head and then spoke

"nagising kase ako na wala ka sa tabi ko kaya nag alala ako na baka kung anong nangyari sayo"

i sigh

i held her face and kiss her forehead

"there's no need to worry about me fiona as long as you're by my side I'm always okay, alright?"

i said with assurance to not make her worried she nod and was about to speak when we both stop when we heard a growl near us I saw fiona bite her lips and her cheeks started to get red

'wait, is that her stomach?'

"xavier..."

"are you hungry?"

I ask curiously she nod shyly

"But you just ate a few minutes ago before we go to bed?"

"pero gutom nanaman ako ehh"

After a few moments of being stunned, I smiled mischievously and started to tease her I held her stomach gently while she look at me curiously because of what I did

"Maybe you're not the one who's hungry but the one who's inside your tummy"

I whispered in her ear meaningfully and I think she understand what I meant because I saw that her cheeks started to get red
