*Piper*

"Yes please." I whispered. Luca took my head between his hands and pressed a soft kiss to my lips. He seemed relieved. As if I could ever say 'no' to him.

"Happy." I crawled closer to Luca and together we looked at the stars.

"The view is so beautiful from here." I said looking up.

"My view is better." Luca chuckled. I looked at Luca and I saw that he was looking at me. I rolled my eyes.

"Wow, that's so..." I started.

"Cute, nice, nice, sweet?"

"Cliche."

"What!" he yelled fake startled. "You secretly like it when I'm cliché." I shook my head laughing.

"Oh! You'll get it back!" he cried. I jumped off his lap and ran inside. I quickly pressed the elevator button. Luckily the elevator was just upstairs and I sprinted into it. I pressed the 'close doors' button several times and hoped I was fast enough. The doors closed slowly. Come on! Go faster! The doors were almost shut when a hand came in. The doors opened again and Luca entered the elevator.

"Oh no." I said.

"Oh yeah." Luca said with a grin. He pushed me against the wall of the elevator and the doors closed slowly. "You can't go anywhere now, Piper." He pressed his forehead against mine and he looked at me mischievously. He leaned forward and our lips almost touched.

"UH-um." We heard next to us. Luca was startled and flew off me.

"Oh s-sorry Mrs. Blanchard. We didn't see you." I stuttered. My cheeks turned bright red and it became very stuffy in the elevator.

"No, that's what I thought." she said in her posh accent. Mrs. Blanchard lived a few floors below us and she always had something to moan about. All the time!

"I just came to see who was making that noise on the roof, but I think I've already found the troublemakers. I think I'm going to report this to the landlord." Luca's eyes widened and he clenched his fists.

"What do you mean?" He hisses through his teeth. Mrs. Blanchard went a little white, but then got another "I'm better than you" grin on her face.

"Just how I say it sir. You are breaking the house rules here, unfortunately I have to report that to the landlord." Luca's lip quivered a little and his eyebrows furrowed. I quickly grabbed his hand and ran my thumb across the back of his hand. Everyone, absolutely everyone, hates Mrs. Blanchard. But attacking her in the elevator now didn't seem like a good idea.

"It's okay, Luca." I whispered. The elevator stopped slowly and the doors slid open. I pulled Luca out of the elevator, who was still having a death-stare contest with Mrs. Blanchard.

"Stupid bitch." He hissed when the elevator doors closed again. I laughed and patted his back.

"Come on, Luca. Please don't let that sad thing ruin your evening." We walked on to the door of our apartment.

"That's true." He said. "Because I've got something she doesn't have."

"Sense of humor? Talent? A personality?" Luca smiled at me.

"I have you."

"Cough-cough-cliche-cough-cough." I coughed.

"I don't care." He puts his hands on my hips and gently pushed me against the door. His lips touched mine and...

The door flew open and Luca and I literally fell in.

"Ah, I thought I heard something." Adam stood in the doorway with a grin on his face. Luca was on top of me and his weight almost choked me.

"Luca, get off me." I got it hard out of my mouth.

"Oh sorry." He got up and pulled me up. I looked at the clock on the wall. It was almost midnight and I was quite tired.

"I think I'm going to sleep." I yawned. I gave Luca a quick kiss on the cheek and went to my bedroom. I quickly put on a shirt and shorts and crawled under the soft sheets. I tossed around, trying to find a comfortable position. When I finally found it, my eyes slowly closed. I almost fell into a deep sleep, but just felt two muscular arms around me.

"Good night, Piper."

—————

I was awakened by a flash. I shot up and saw Adam running out of the room. Idiot. I fell back on my pillow and looked at the boy next to me.

"Luca? What are you doing in my bed?" I asked sleepily, rubbing my eyes. Luca just growled and pulled me closer to him.

"Luca." I laughed. He held me close and sniffed my hair. I closed my eyes again and listened to his heartbeat. It was very soothing, until I heard Jason yell in the distance. With great difficulty I broke free and went to the living room.

"Piper, there are some letters for you." Still completely sleepy, I walked to the table where the letters were. Yawning, I opened the first letter.

Dear Piper Williams,

We have received your application for the study 'Economics and Law' and would like to inform you that we are very charmed by you. We would like to invite you for an interview...

I was partly relieved. If I wouldn't be admitted to the acting course, I could at least study something else. I handed the first letter to Jason, who was reading over my shoulder. I took the second letter and tore open the envelope.

Dear Piper Williams

Your application to our acting course has not gone unnoticed. We would like to invite you to audition at one of the following locations...

I let out a small scream. In any case, I was allowed to audition at my second favorite acting school. I put the letter back on the table and looked at the last envelope. "Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts." This was one of the best acting schools in the country and I really wanted to go here.

"I can't open it." I said to Jason. Jason picked up the envelope and made it gently open his eyes scanned the paper and he began to read

"Dear Piper Williams. Bla-bla-blah..." There was a pause and Jason looked at me. "You can audition! You can audition!" I flew around Jason's neck and we jumped up and down together. Luca stumbled into the room still half asleep.

"Why are we so happy?" he asked.

"Well, Piper gets to audition for the Academy." Jason said proudly. I had a radiant smile on my face and looked at the letter.

"But." Luca started. "The Academy is super far away. That is at least three hours by train." I looked up and saw the painful look in Luca's eyes.

"I hadn't thought about that at all." I admit honestly. Tension hung in the air for a long time.

"Piper." Jason sighed. "I think you should seize this opportunity. The Academy is so big. Almost all students are offered a good job." I let Jason's arguments sink in for a while. He was right, of course. Each student later became a famous actor.

"But I can't leave you here." I whispered. I looked at Luca and he walked over to me. He kissed me softly on my forehead.

"Listen Piper. Don't do this for me. Do what your heart says. I'm happy for you even if it doesn't seem like it." And with those words, Luca left the room. My heart and my head had a big fight. My mind thought I should grab the opportunity with both hands. My heart did not agree with this. My heart was beating for Luca and the rest of the boys
