Episode 50

Demi smiled making her way over kneeling down by the boys opening the carrier up the two kittens leaping out the first chance they got. Joe smiled too as one of the kittens jumped on Jayden and the other on Isaac as if they had just picked who their best friend would be. The boys squealed as the kittens climbed all over them clinging to their shirts.

"I was going to give you a chance to pick which one you wanted without fighting but it looks as if they've made their minds up." Demi laughed watching her boys play with the kittens but they needed to explain what the point of the kittens are, they hadn't just brought them for the boys to keep for fun. There was a reason behind it and Joe didn't wait any longer to explain to them what was going to be happening for them.

"These kittens are brothers just like you but they are only ten weeks old which means they are babies. You will have to help look after them, feed them, give them exercise and help clean up after them. It's exactly what will be happening when mommy has our babies, hopefully you can help out once you've got the hang of looking after these kittens." Joe explained.

"Let's call it big brother training." Demi grinned making them laugh.

"Do they have names?" Jayden questioned.

"That's for you to decide on your own kitten but think about it a little more." Joe stated.

Joe and Demi let Jayden and Isaac play with the kittens a little bit before they showed them how they should be fed. They were still a little young to be eating regular kitten food but they still used the food but mashed it up with a little bit of cat milk so it would be easier for the kittens to digest. Joe lifted one of the kittens up placing him on the counter then his brother near the food bowl. Both kittens tucked in eating their meal.

"Now if you leave them alone to eat they will have more energy to play." Demi encouraged but Jayden and Isaac were too fixed on the kittens watching them eat.

"I think they will be just fine." Joe whispered in Demi's ear Demi smiling taking hold of his hand squeezing it gently.

"I think I know what I want to call mine." Isaac spoke looking towards them.

"What sweetie?" Demi questioned.

"Alfie." He said simply both of them smiling nodding their heads.

"That's a wonderful name, what about you Jay, you got one for yours?" Demi questioned again Jayden looking up towards them.

"Um Benji." He replied both of them smiling again knowing they had both thought hard about what they wanted to call their kittens even though it had only been an hour or so. They seemed certain that it was what they wanted to call them.

"I'll get them some collars tomorrow and we can engrave their name on, you can still change your mind until tomorrow." Joe stated.

"Night Benji." Jayden kissed the kitten's head as Isaac did the same to Alfie, they got up again saying goodnight to Joe before they made their way upstairs with Demi who would make sure they were in bed. Joe picked the kittens up sitting on the couch sitting them down in his lap laughing as they started playing with each other. Demi entered again not long later sitting next to him.

"Everyone knows now." She whispered slightly.

"And nobody doesn't agree, I told you not to worry." Joe teases Demi shaking her head laying her head on his shoulder her hands coming down over her unformed bump as she watched the kittens climb all over Joe not staying still.

"I'm glad you're sticking around." Demi admitted Joe smiling wrapping his arm around her.

"Always." He whispered in her ear then kissing the side of her head.
