Episode 54

Demi turned to Joe as he looked down at her. They knew it would have had something to do with why he was upset but to Joe it still didn't make sense why he would run away. He thought he had left him happy that the bullying was going to stop and if it got much worse  he would tell him and he'd go sort it out. He couldn't help but think it was his fault.

"What did he say to you? Please tell me." Demi begged Joe sighed knowing Isaac didn't want her to know yet but he gave him no option with running away. He had to tell her now, it was probably the reason for him leaving the house without them knowing.

"He said that Jake's brother was bullying him when Jay wasn't around." Joe explained.

"Jake doesn't have any brothers, he only has a younger sister." Jayden revealed as he entered the hall after hearing what Joe had said.

"He made up something then, sorry Dems." Joe spoke Demi taking his hand.

"This isn't your fault, we just need to find him before something serious happens." She demanded going to walk forward but Joe pulled her gently back.

"You can't go, your pregnant. I'll go and call your parents, mine and as many other people as I know to come help okay. You just stay here with Jayden and get some dinner." Demi sighed nodding her head knowing he wasn't going to let her out to go look for her son, Demi turned around to Jayden who looked just as scared as his mother.

"Go into the kitchen sweetie, I'll be there in a minute." Jayden followed her orders which just allowed Demi to start crying, she didn't want Jayden to see his mother cry. Joe hugged her Demi wrapping her arms back around him burying her head into his chest.

"We'll find him." Joe reassured rubbing her back.

"H-He's only seven." Demi stammered.

"And he'll be back with you soon, I promise. Go clean yourself up and comfort Jay okay, I'll get off and search for him." Demi pulled away from him cracking a small smile as he wiped away her tears, he then leaned down kissing her lips Demi instantly kissing back but the kiss didn't last long. Joe pulled away kissing her forehead before rushing down the path his phone in his hands ready to call as many people as he could to help him search for Isaac.  

Demi was eating dinner with Jayden the room silent, she couldn't help but worry about her youngest son. That he was in some form of danger that he couldn't get away from, she desperately wanted to be happy for her two unborn children and the son she did have but it was hard when all she had on her mind was Isaac. She was eating though, for her unborn children.

"I think I know the reason he ran away." Jayden broke the silence Demi looking at him.

"What?" She questioned.

"He asked me this morning about our real dad, if we could ask you about him. We've always been scared that you wouldn't tell us so we didn't. He lied about Jake having a brother to Joe to get him off his back." Jayden explained Demi sighing.

"I suppose I should have told you both about your dad before now, it's just not easy to explain." Demi stated taking a sip of her drink.

"Is Isaac gonna die?" Jayden questioned this time but Demi was quick to reassure him.

"No Jay, not if we have anything to do with it. So many people are out there now looking for him, Joe and his family and your Granny and Grandpa are out there too. He'll be home soon," Jayden nodded his head both of them looking up when the doorbell rung. "Wait here." Demi rushed up off her seat and towards the door hoping that it was Isaac but she was disappointed when she saw two police officer. She couldn't help but fear the worse as she opened the door.

"Are you Demi Lovato, Isaac's mother?" One of them questioned Demi nodding her head. "Your partner reported him missing, can we come in and talk?"
