Episode 69

Joe had invited Nick and Selena back to the park again knowing that they would want to know whether he was still okay with Demi. He will admit that he was surprised that she was so calm about the situation but he was happy that she was and couldn't wait just to continue his life with her and their children. He hoped nothing would ruin his chances with Demi and if she was fine with him Stalking her for seven years he didn't see what else would.

"Looks as if they have made some friends." Nick stated as he sat down next to his brother Selena next to him. Joe smiled looking out at the playing frame seeing Jayden and Isaac playing in a little group. He loved seeing them so happy.

"Are you and Demi okay then?" Selena questioned Joe nodding her head.

"She said it was a little creepy but I guess she didn't want to break up over something that happened in the past." Joe shrugged his shoulders.

"I haven't seen you as happy since before Grace died, mom has even commented on that." Joe couldn't help but smile. He knew how much happier he was, he could see himself spending the rest of his life with Demi and the boys especially now they have their own twins on the way. He hoped nothing would ruin it for him.

"You are cute together." Selena admitted.

"We do try out best," Joe grinned making the two of them laugh. "I still kind of wish Grace was here though, I know she never felt the same about me as I did her but her company is the one thing I want back." Joe admitted himself.

"You won't be the only one who wants to bring someone back but there's nothing that could happen to bring her back." Nick answered Joe sighing.

"I know which is the first feeling ever, knowing that I will never see her again. I just can't believe it's been over ten years." Joe never even stayed in contact with her parents which seemed a lot like his own parents. When Grace died her family move away from all the bad memories and just five years after the move the whole family had lost contact. Nobody but Joe's family who ever realise how close he was too her and Nick knew he would do anything just to speak to her one more time.

"Seems like you're the one who needs the bubble bath and massage and bubble bath today, what's wrong?" Demi questioned as Joe was rubbing her back gently but she could see how tense and lost in his own thoughts he was through the mirror which was opposite her. Joe cracked a small smile leaning down kissing her neck gently before pulling back.

"I'm fine, I just have a lot on my mind." Joe confessed.

"You want to talk about it?" Demi inquired Joe shrugging his shoulders moving as Demi did so they were now facing each other once Joe had shifted down the bed so his head was laid on the pillow. She leaned over pecking his lips gently before she laid back in position. 

"I guess talking to Nick and Sel at the park about Grace just brought some memories." Joe explained Demi nodding her head gently.

"How old were you when you met?" Demi questioned.

"Technically days after I was born and I came home with my mom. Our mom's were best friends growing up too and Grace was only a couple of months older so we kind of grew up together. I don't really know why it was us and not her and Nick, I guess we just had more in common." Joe explained Demi smiling slightly.

"What did you used to get up to?" Demi questioned again only smiling wider when Joe begun telling her about what he used to get up to with Grace when they were younger, Demi could see how close they were just by the way he was talking about her. She knew that they probably wouldn't have met if Grace hadn't of died but she could help but think maybe she would prefer it that way.
