Episode 86

Joe waved off his family and Demi's as they all decided to head home after all having a hold of the new born. Maisie was born exactly four months after her twin sister, Joe and Demi didn't care as long as they were both here. Their twins were special. Joe wrapped his arm back around Maisie's bum so she had more support before heading back into the room where he knew he should too probably get some rest so he wouldn't have Demi moaning at him when she woke up. He laid Maisie down in the plastic crib supplied by the hospital kissing her head before he made his way over to the couch. He laid down on it closing his eyes, it didn't take long for him to fall asleep happy and content that his family was going to be okay.

Both Joe and Demi were woken up by a cry filling up the room, Demi was the one who sat up in the bed wincing slightly from the pain of giving birth less than twelve hours ago but she ignored the pain leaning over into the crib bringing the newborn up in her arms rocking her gently paying attention to her daughter and not Joe who made his way over.

"Could you pass me a diaper?" Demi questioned as she laid Maisie down on the bed undoing her baby grow taking off the diaper just in time for Joe to hand her a clean one. "I'll swap ya." Joe laughed disposing off the dirty diaper then sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Everyone loves her already." Joe states.

"Of course they do, she's gorgeous," Demi cooed as she brought the little girl back up in her arms. "Were they shocked she was a girl?"

"Jay and Isaac were a little confused why they didn't have a brother." Demi giggled laying her head down on his chest smiling when he kissed her head.

"I'm just happy that everything is going to be okay, we can get married and start our lives with our family." Demi expressed not moving her eyes from her daughter who was now slowly drifting off to sleep in her mother's arms. Joe was watching her as well neither of them believing that she was finally here after everything that had happened. Joe was also admiring how much she looked like her mother but she had Jonas eyes which were now closed. She also shared his hair colour which they could see a small amount of the top of her head. But her facial details were so much like Demi.

"That sounds nice." Joe admitted.

"Even if Steph's baby is yours?" Demi questioned tilting her head back looking at him, Joe sighed leaning down pecking her lips gently.

"If Steph's baby is mine she will be in the picture as well but if not then I'll kick them both out of my life completely," Joe spoke Demi laughing. "We'll find out today then we can get back to planning our wedding." Demi smiled her eyes laying back on Maisie.

Joe wondered out of the hospital room once she knew that Maisie and Demi were sleeping. He took in a deep breath wondering down the halls where he knew Steph was waiting for him so he could hear about the news. Whether he was the father to Steph's baby girl, Isabella. He didn't even greet Steph as he made his way over or laid his eyes on the baby in her arms.

"Is she mine or not?" Joe questioned.

"I don't know, you'll have to ask the doctor." Steph replied Joe running his finger through his hair. He didn't want the baby to be his, he was so happy with Demi and their children. He didn't want the two of them to come into the picture as well but he would never abandon Isabella if she was his daughter. She would always have a space in his heart even if he didn't see her as often as the boys and his daughters.

"I'll never forgive you for this if you're lying I swear." Joe stressed before knocking on the office door then taking in a deep breath as the doctor's door was opened revealing a doctor who gave him a warm smile telling him to enter.
