Rachel kissed Max's cheek and headed off to her next class.
"See you after school. Chloe's picking us up." Rachel called, doing finger guns before turning the corner.
Max blushed. This was the first time Rachel had showed any sort of affection in a social setting. They, along with Chloe, had decided to keep their relationship on the down low. This was mainly due to the rumors that were sure to spread once it reached Victoria and her cronies. But, a few weeks ago someone had seen Chloe kiss Max outside the school and it had spread like wildfire and now it seemed that Rachel didn't care too much about what others thought anymore.
Kate reached Max's side to walk to class with her.
"Max, I didn't know you broke up with Chloe." Kate said. "You two were so cute together."
"Oh, I uh... I didn't." Max said, starting to walk.
"Oh." Kate said furrowing her eyebrows. "Are you not with Rachel? Because you should say something to her."
"No, I uh, I am." Max said.
"Oh, well. It's not my place but, shouldn't you tell Chloe?" Kate asked.
"No, I'm with Chloe too."
"I don't get it." Kate said, slowing to a stop.
"Think of it like a triangle." Max said, forming a triangle with her hands. "I'm dating Chloe, Chloe's dating Rachel, and Rachel's dating me. We call it a Thruple."
"Oh." Kate said. "Okay!"
She smiled at Max and continued walking with her.
"Hey, uh. Don't tell anyone. Yet. It's difficult to explain and we don't need the Drama." Max said.
"Of course not." Kate responded, pushing the classroom door open.

This one is a little short. Sorry about that. I just had a ton of short fics sitting in my finished folder and figured I should just post them. Why not? the next few will be about the same length but then I promise I will get some longer fics out. I just got a new laptop to write on and I also took a beach trip recently which means lots of pictures! Including my new all time favourite polaroid that I have ever taken. Ya'll are gonna love it.
