(Got some moody beach pics a while ago. It was so foggy that you could barely see but it made for some very perfect pictures. Hoping to go again soon for some more! Maybe I'll finally have a nice digital camera to use. As well as my polaroid. Can't forget about those!)

Max started to cry. Today had sucked. Today had really really sucked. She tried not to think of the specifics to avoid more tears but they just kept coming. Once they started it was easier to just let them all out. She buried her face in her pillow but had to surface for air.
Just then, her door swung open and a familiar blue haired punk strolled in with Rachel in tow.
"You didn't text about movie night so movie night.. has been.... moved..." Chloe trailed off when she noticed Max's tears.
Max was desperately trying to wipe them away. Chloe would only make a big deal out of this and Max really didn't want to cry in front of her and especially not in front of Rachel whom she had a massive crush on. As well as Chloe but that wasn't the point.
"Max, are you okay?" Chloe asked.
Those were the wrong words to ask because as soon as they left Chloe's mouth, Max lost it. Any composure she had gained was gone in an instant. Tears started to flow heavier than before and Chloe rushed over to sit on the edge of Max's bed. Chloe reached her hand out to Max and Max gripped it tightly, holding on to anything to keep her grounded. Rachel took the spot next to Chloe on the edge of Max's bed and gave a sympathetic look.
"It's okay Max." Rachel said. "We're here now. Just let it out. Sometimes crying is just what you need to do. We won't judge."
"Yeah, take as long as you need." Chloe added, squeezing Max's hand gently.
Max squeezed back to show she had heard them and continued to cry. She didn't even know how she was suppose to explain what she was crying about because every time she thought about it she just cried harder.
A few minutes passed and Max slowly started to relax. Rachel got up to grab some tissues from Max's desk and handed them to Chloe before sitting back in her spot. Chloe reached and gently dabbed at Max's face to clean some of the tears and then handed an extra tissue to Max so she could blow her nose.
"I'm sorry." Max said, her voice hoarse from crying.
"Hey, you don't have to apologize. Ever." Chloe said. "If you're feeling feelings you let them out. It's horrible to bottle them up. I did that for five years and look where it got me."
"In a room with me and Rachel?" Max said.
Chloe froze.
"You know, you have a fair point. I kind of look like I'm winning here." Chloe said. "But the point is. It took me that long to get here."
Max laughed and Chloe smiled. Glad she could cheer Max up a bit.
"Are you okay now?" Chloe asked.
Max nodded. She did feel a lot better.
"Do you need anything? More tissues? Water?" Rachel asked.
Max shook her head.
"I'm just glad you're both here." Max said.
"Of course. I knew something had to be up when you didn't text back about movie night. Rachel suggested we bring it here and I'm so glad she did. I can't have you crying alone." Chloe said.
"I don't know how to even begin explaining." Max said.
"You don't have to." Rachel said. "Not if you don't want."
