Questioning (Chloe)

(Not one of my 'professional' photos but definitely one of my favorites! I was 'helping' my friends work on a car. When I say helping, I was playing around with a ladybug and occasionally handing them tools. lol)

"Hey Steph...?" Chloe said quietly.

"Yeah?" Steph asked, mildly confused by Chloe's quiet, shy tone.

"Um.. you know how you said I could talk to you?" Chloe said.

"Yeah, about anything." Steph said, giving 100% of her attention.

"Well... I... you know what... never mind." Chloe said.

"No, it's okay. Chloe, you can talk to me. No judgment. Promise."

"Okay. Well, it's about Rachel.." Chloe said.

Steph was intrigued. She had a suspicion that Rachel and Chloe were a thing but Chloe had neither confirmed nor denied.

"Well, kind of." Chloe added. "Basically, I.. I'm confused."

"About what?" Steph asked. "If you're wondering if she likes you she definitely does. I see the way she looks at you Chloe. You guys would make a cute couple."

"It's not that." Chloe said. "I've never had feelings for a girl before.."

"Oh." Steph said.

"Well, back when I was a kid I think I had a crush on my childhood friend but I didn't understand that at the time."

Steph nodded to show she was listening.

"Basically, I don't know what this means.. I like Rachel, I... I like like her. But.. does that make me gay? I'm super confused."

"Well, what do you think that makes you?" Steph asked.

"I don't know." Chloe answered.

"Well, it's all up to you Chloe. You don't have to label yourself if you don't want to. Some people find comfort in labels, but if it's not for you, don't worry about it. The best advice I have, is follow your heart."

Chloe looked thoughtful.

"Really? Like, that's okay?"

Steph laughed.

"Of course it is. It's your sexuality. Customize the shit out of it."

Chloe laughed.

"Thanks Steph."

"No problem." Steph said. "Also.. Chloe?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm glad you trusted me enough to talk."

"Of course. You're about the only person I trust to keep a secret. Besides Rachel of course."

"I'm just glad that I could be here for you Chloe."

I had this idea while playing through BTS again, also, while playing through Steph's DLC I was thinking about how important Steph's friendship with Chloe was and had to write this. Hoping to get some more ideas for Chloe and Steph because their friendship is wayyy overrated. Hope you enjoyed this one! And let me know if you also want more Steph and if you have any ideas!
