Jungkook's POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock ringing. I shut it as I got up, stretching my arms.  I realized the time, 6:45. Cursing, I shot up from my bed, picking my clothes and going to the washroom to brush my teeth, wash my face and wear my clothes. After doing all that stuff listed, I skipped breakfast and ran out of the house, slamming the front door. I ran out of the house, hoping that I wouldn't get ticked off by our Medicine teacher.  As I reached school, I quickly went through the school gates, almost tripping because my shoe laces weren't tied. I screamed inside as I quickly tied them and stumbled into the classroom, panting.

Our Meidcine teacher, Professor Arhtur was there, shaking his head. "5 minutes late to class, Jungkook."

I got embarrassed. "I-I'm sorry sir." I said.

"Luckily for you, I'll let it slide because you're a good student." he said.

I thanked my stars as I bowed and sat down on my desk. Jin was there behind me, spacing out. Again.

"Well anyways class, please take our books to page number 67."

"Are you alright?" I asked Jin, poking his shoulder.

"Ah shit that hurts!" he said, putting a hand to his shoulder. I raised my eyebrow. "Seriously? I just poked you, does it hurt so bad?"

Jin glared at me. "If you knew the consequences, you wouldn't be making fun of me right now." he said. "What page?"

"67"

"Well turn around and listen to the professor, Mr. Know It All." Jin mocked.

I glared at him before turning to do my work. What had gotten into him?

I shrugged it off as I focused on the lesson, taking notes, giving answers, being called names, the usual routine.

As the bell finally rang for break, noise filled the classroom as everyone joined their friends, laughed and left the classroom. Only me and Jin remained. I was highlighting the important points of the chapter while Jin was writing something in that black book.

I peered over to see what he was writing, but I only caught a glimpse of the word 'money' before Jin slapped me.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" I yelled. "Why did you slap me?!"

"Because I need to let out my anger on someone." he replied.

"I'm not your punching bag alright?!" I yelled. "You could've just-"

"Don't yell at me Jeon." Jin said, sending shivers down my spine. That voice was intimidating, calm but dangerously angry.

"Apologize then." I said.

"Aren't you the one who's supposed to be apologizing?" he said.

"You were the one who slapped me."

"And you're the one who yelled at me, so you're supposed to be the one apologizing."

I laughed. "You're just like my step-parents. Always think that you're the right one, and I'm always wrong."

Jin raised his eyebrows. "Step-parents?

"Yeah." I said. "My real parents died in a car accident, so I got adopted.

"Ah...okay." Jin said.

"Um...if you don't mind, can you please tell me what you were writing in that black book?" I asked, twisting my hands.

"Why do you want to know?"

"Because it might be something related to the mafia or something as you write that kind of stuff in that black bo-"
