My heels clicked against the floor tiles and my hands shook in anger. I was pretty sure my face was a color of bright red tomato and my glare was enough to make a person hesitate before speaking.
The coffee in my hand had turned lukewarm and I clenched my mobile in the other one tightly. As soon as I turned around the corner and entered the office cafeteria, approaching me from the opposite side in a similar situation was none other than Satan himself. AKA, the Devil.
"You! You did this you piece of shit- ", I hissed while pointing a finger at him, walking faster.
"I did this?! You think I'd post my own pictures from high school when I had a face full with acne and a body thinner than a toothpick with the caption 'I have three types of STDs'?!"
I blinked and my anger subsided for a second, "Wait- what? Julian you were the one who posted my photos from high school when I was going through puberty!"
His expression faltered, "What, no! What are you talking about Lilly? You were the one who posted about me!"
"No..." We both quickly opened twitter on our mobiles and I showed him the post about me when I hadn't had my glow up yet and let's just say I wasn't really a pleasant sight to see.
We showed each other our phones at the same time and I noticed the fake user id of mine on his mobile while he saw his fake id on my mobile. What the fuck?
"Wait I didn't post that...." We both spoke at the same time again, frowning even more.
Suddenly, a realization flickered across us and our eyes widened at each other.
"Georgie!" We spoke yet again at each other and the people around the cafeteria gave us weird looks.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I stormed towards Georgie's desk in the Copy Department on the second floor, anger radiating off my face for a second time that day. The only difference was that Julian was by my side this time, although his expression wasn't much different as me.
I slammed my hand on his desk and Georgie looked at us startled, his red hair nearly reaching his eyes.
"You idiotic piece of shit! I swear to God, I'll cut you pieces by pieces and leave them under the Eiffel Tower for the pigeons and crows and every other goddamn bird or animal to feed on you!"
My breath came out in small pants and he had the audacity to fucking laugh at my face.
"I suppose you two saw the posts. Too bad, I have more stuff I dug on you two, especially you Lilly. Like how about the camping incident in- "
"Shut the fuck up, Georgie."
Julian's cold voice ran across the floor, making everyone stop in their tracks and silence fell over.
He walked closer towards where Georgie was sitting, his large muscular hands which were tucked in his pants pockets previously were now crossed across his chest.
"I dare you to pull this shit once more and see if there won't be any consequences the next day."
A single sentence by Julian was enough to make Georgie gulp down in fear. His sharp features just made him look more intimidating.
I knew the job was done but still gave Georgie the finger before Julian steered me back to the third floor where we worked in the Art Department.
Ah! Before I leave, I totally forgot this ahem: Welcome! Welcome! To the life of Lilly West, AKA me.
Where drama ensues every other day and what you read right now was absolutely nothing compared to what we experience all the time. Alright, I might be exaggerating a bit but still you probably got my point.
Georgie asked me out a few weeks ago but I refused being the good girl I am. Note the sarcasm. Anyways, he got mad at me for saying no and then started cursing me out.
Long story short, Julian saw us in a heated argument and came to rescue the damsel in distress being the gentleman he was. Ha, totally not.
And since than Georgie has been technically harassing us but enough was enough now. Hopefully he doesn't pull any of this crap or else he'd definitely make some new friends in prison if not due to me then at least due to Julian.
Julian hung one of his arms around my shoulders and we stepped off the elevator in sync.
"Are you okay?" He asked, his dirty blond hair fell across his forehead and his blue-green eyes were filled with worry.
I nodded my head, "Yeah it's just boys really need to learn that when a girl says 'no' she means it."
He chuckled under his breath while we resumed walking.
Once we settled on our desks which said 'Art Directors' with our names proudly printed in bold letters opposite to each other, a ping went off our mobiles at the same time.
We gave each other the look saying 'Again?' and opened our messages.
Han: Meet us after work at my bakery. Blake and I have to tell you something.
"Seems like we have to- "
"Meet them at the bakery. Blake texted the same to me."
I gave him a blank look, "Seriously, stop interrupting me."
He smirked, "No can do."
I muttered under my breath, "Annoying ass," and clicked on my laptop to resume working.
