The place mentioned in this chapter is absolutely real and it's so pretty 🥺

"Now that we've reached the railway station, will you tell us where are we going at six a.m. on a Thursday?"
We all were standing in front of Gare Montparnasses station when Han and Blake finally asked, they question they were dying to ask.
Julian placed the last of our luggage from the taxi on the ground and we shared a glance to reveal what we actually planned for the weekend.
"Okay, you both know this weekend is the bachelor weekend and the responsibility was on Julian and me," I motion towards my partner to continue.
"So, we both decided that we should make this a wedding gift for you two from us and planned something grand. We did get ideas for a normal party and crap but we wanted to do something more."
I picked up from there, "Han, remember how much you love countryside?"
She nodded with a puzzled expression but my smile just grew.
"This is not really how a bachelor party should be but I hope you two like it," I took a sharp breath and shared one last look with Julian before we both exclaimed.
"We're going to the village of Saint- Paul- De- Vence!"
Both- Blake and Han's eyes widened and Han let out a startled scream.
"Wait- what? Are you actually serious?!" Blake asked.
"Duh! Why would we lie? I even have your tickets." Julian showed him on his phone the tickets we booked few days back.
"Oh my God, I will cry. Thank you so much." Hannah came towards me, arms wide open.
"Aww don't cry." I hugged her tight.
"No, nope, do not say that you can't take this because we spent a lot of money to organize things." Julian's voice rang and Blake shook his head.
We all hugged for a while before Julian spoke once more.
"Guys, I think we should really go inside now or we'll miss the train."
Everyone agreed and we made our way towards the entrance, dragging our respective suitcases and luggage behind us.
"Babe, I still can't believe they did this for us."
"I know right? And-"
I tuned off the rest of their conversation and quickly caught up with Julian a few feet ahead of us.
"Told you they'll like it." I smirked and glanced sideways towards him.
He rolled his eyes, "Fine, fine. You know them better than me but the poor euros I spent on this," he started fake sobbing at the end of his sentence.
I smacked him on the arm, "Julian come on; they're our best friends and this will happen only once. Who knows how much things will change after they get married?"
He snorted once we entered the station and the sudden gust of wind blew our hair in every direction.
"Well, they always have the option of divorce."
I looked at him appalled.
He raised both his hands in surrender, "I'm kidding. Don't tell Han please!"
"Don't tell me what?" Han asked us from behind and I smirked.
Julian gave me one last pleading look and I didn't snitch on him...only for this time though.

The rest of the journey was a blur. Getting on a six- hour train ride, playing uno on the train, gossiping about some people, waiting in scorching heat for the taxi and finally checking in the hotel we booked La Grande Bastide.
It kind of reminded me of our college days and I smiled at the memories.
"Finally, I so want to sleep. Good-night people, see you never."
I pulled Julian's sleeve to stop him from going and scowled, "Wait a minute. We still have to wait for our guests to arrive you idiot."
He whined, "No!"
"You're such a baby. Go freshen up and we'll discuss what we will do for the rest of the trip once Blake and Han's cousins arrive."
He sighed, "As you wish, master."
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Approximately three hours later, everyone had arrived and freshened up. Now we all were gathered in the lounge to discuss the activities Julian and I planned.
Han sat with her three cousins: Emma, Manon and Caroline who I briefly knew and talked throughout the years I was friends with Han. The other two said they won't be able to make it and the smart thing we did was ask everyone before booking the tickets, so we didn't have to worry about refund.
On the other hand, Blake was reunited with his three cousins: Lucas, Arthur and Charles. Hannah and Julian knew them well but I was meeting them for the first time. And let me tell you, hot would be an understatement to describe them.
"Bonjour, bonjour everyone! Thank you for coming and making this weekend even more enjoyable for us." My voice rang across the room and everyone stopped talking.
Julian and me stood before everyone, who I might add were sitting comfortably and eating snacks.
"Noodle and I have planned a lot of stuff for the trip so buckle up your belts. Tomorrow, we have a tour for the village at seven in the morning so be ready according to it."
I spoke after him, "The tour will be till evening and after that we all can relax in the pool. On Saturday, we've organised a scavenger hunt and rented the whole open area of the hotel for the day."
Julian continued, "On Sunday, we can just relax and play some indoor games or go for some shopping. At night, we've planned a surprise and you'll see it then only. Get ready for a fun weekend!"
Cheers and hoots rang out and everyone raised up their drinks, "To Blake and Han!"
After that everyone got busy in their own conversations and I turned towards Julian.
"Is it only me who has this feeling that we both are going to be the dad and mom of this trip?"
Julian looked at me shocked, "You read my mind."
I chuckled and we both clinked our glasses before drinking, "To us!"
This weekend was going to be a great one.
