We are having some pretty hectic days right now. April is here, finally some sun is shining even though the temperatures in London aren't that high. Tom is getting ready for the Avengers Infinity war press tour that is starting in just two days here in London. He is all over the place packing his stuff for Seoul and Shanghai, where Charlie and I will not be going, and stressing about leaving me pregnant and with a nine month old baby. "I just really..." he says coming back into our bedroom after being in his study gathering some things and meanwhile finishing his conversation. "Tom sit down please" "The thing is I..." "Please! Sit down! You are making my head spinning" I say rubbing my temples "Oh darling, I'm sorry" he says sitting down next to me and taking my hands in his "It's ok, I know you're not doing this on purpose" "I'm just stressed" "I know, but you don't have to worry, Emma is going to stay here with me and help me" "I know" "Do you think you are done packing for the day?" "Yes" "Good, because I want you to go for a walk with me" "Where to?" "The park" "With Charlie?" "Well of course! I wouldn't leave our nine months old home alone! Would you?" "Absolutely not!" "Great! Let's go" "Yep!" He quickly put on some jeans and grabs his coat then goes to put Charlie into his warmer clothes and position him in the stroller.
We walk to the park hand in hand, him pushing Charlie. "The weather is really nice today" "It is" I say "Do you want to grab something to eat while we go there?" "Why not?" "What do you want?" "I think I'll have chocolate churros" I say pointing to a nice little cafe "do you want something?" I then ask him "No thank you, I'll wait right here" I nod and walk into the shop getting in line and waiting for my turn. "Hi Zawe, what can I get for you today?" The girl named Clara asks me, the staff of this place knows me pretty well since I've been coming here for the last five years "Hi Clara, chocolate churros please" "I'll make them right away follow me so we can chat a bit" "Sure" I take a few steps to my left in front of the churros making station "How are things going?" She asks "All good! My morning sickness is going away and the cravings are starting, hence why I'm here now..." "Ahahah" "Charlie is growing so fast and Tom is the usual soft and romantic fiancé" "Well that's good to hear!" "What about you and that...Will guy?" "Actually, he is taking me to dinner tonight" "Uuuh" "Stop" "Do you know what to wear?" Exiting the shop I find my boys, Tom sat on a bench lightly tickling Charlie's feet. "Here you are love" he says standing up "These are so good" I say stuffing my mouth "I bet" "Oh...Clara says hi" He nods and gently knocks on the shop window, making the girl turn, then he waves at her smiling and she waves back.
After another ten minutes of walking we have reached the park and I get Charlie out of his stroller making him crawl in front of our feet and playing in the grass with his little toys as Tom and I sit down, me between his legs and his arms around my waist. One of his hand gently rubbing my growing stomach. "I was watching your belly this morning while you where changing" "Staring is rude" I joke "Oh shut up and let me finish! I was saying...you looked so gorgeous, your skin is perfect and glowing and this little bump makes it a hundred times better" "I love you" I say putting my hand on top of his watching Charlie continue to play and Tom leaves a few little kisses on my cheek whispering an 'I love you too, my darling' in my ear.
