Tom, Zawe and the rest of the team said their goodbyes in New York with the promise of catching up, and went their own ways.

It's the morning of the second day being in the hospital, right after I forced Tom to go grab some real breakfast for himself, the nurse got in with my discharge papers for me to sign, also saying that after lunch I can go home. Once she walked out I lift Charlie from his cot and bring him closer to my chest as he began to fuss immediately asking to be fed. "Here you go baby" I say as he latches to my breast and that is just when Tom comes back in. As soon as he turns and sees me half undressed he closes his eyes and his cheeks become instantly red. "Oh god I'm so sorry darling" "First you didn't know I was feeding him, second you looked down there which is worst than up here" "That is correct but.." "You can open your eyes as long as it doesn't bother you" "No, I just didn't want you to feel...you know..." "Come here" I tell him extending my hand which he soon grabs "Hi" he says to me before looking down at the tiny baby "Hi" "How are you doing?" "Better, still hurts when I go to the bathroom but..." "Eheheheh, I hope you'll feel better soon" he says giving my cheek a little kiss. "Oh it's going to be a long journey, cramps and all that" "I know, I know, but if you need anything I'm here" he sweetly says always looking in my eyes as his hand plays with Charlie's little fingers "Is it too soon to say I love you?" I ask "If you feel that this is the right moment for you, then no" he tells me "I love you Thomas" I say looking at him "You don't know how happy I feel right now darling" he says laughing a bit "I love you too Zawe" "Give me a kiss" He gently cups my cheeks and kisses my lips softly for a few seconds before Charlie begins to fuss a little bit "What? Are you jealous of me kissing your mummy?" Tom says kissing his head
After an hour or so they bring me lunch and as I eat it Tom puts my belongings back in my bag and then packs the baby's things. "Do you want me to change him as you eat so then you can go to the bathroom and if you need help I'm here?" "Thank you, yes" I watch Tom as he changes Charlie's diaper like a pro, then puts socks a short sleeved onesie and long dark green pants all that topped with mittens a little hat and his pacifier "All done" he says picking him up and rocking him in his arms "so cute" "Aww look at you" I say and he turns "What?" "My cute boys" "Eheheh"
After being done eating I start to do my things in the bathroom as he rocks my son to sleep after he took a couple of photos of him. I do my skin care and brush my hair then pull them up in a loose bun. "Are we ready?" I ask exiting the bathroom "Yep" The hospital let us leave from the behind door so we don't have to face the press even though there is basically no one. Luke drives us home only after staring sweetly at Charlie for five minutes as he sleeps in his car seat.
"Welcome home little one" I say "When I came home earlier I put the little cot near your bed "Mine?" "Yes...why?" "I thought...never mind" I say "You thought we were going to sleep in the same room right?" "Yes..." I say looking down "We can do that, I just thought you wanted to have your space" "If you want me to stay in my room I can do that Tom" "No no. Absolutely not. There's nothing more I want than to stay with you and Charlie when I sleep" "Great" I say smiling big "I'll move it to mine right away" he says already walking io the stairs "Thanks! Can I text the marvel cast and send them a pic of him. We haven't told them yet and I don't want them to find out from the news or something" "Sure love! My phone is on the kitchen counter" he says and then disappears upstairs

After doing that i go upstairs with Charlie and see Tom adjusting his cot near his bed. "Thank you" "No problem! How did they react?" "They are all so happy for me and already fighting over who will be Charlie's favorite uncle" "Which of course is going to be me right?" He asks "You will be more than his uncle, Tom" "Mhm" he mumbles laughing "shall the three of us cuddle in bed before dinner?" "I like the sound of that" "Good, come here" We lay on the bed, Tom pulling me close and I laying Charlie on his chest "That feels nice, and he smells so good" he says "He does" We stay cuddled for at least two hours, basically doing nothing but little talks and kissing the baby hands or head, living in our little happy world.
